Richie and Eddie are visited by a man from the Gas board. Afraid that their pipeline from next door is about to be rumbled they desperately try to cover their tracks. Murder, cannibalism and bus surfing are possible solutions.

Richie and Eddie are visited by the Gasman to read their meter, which is illegally connected to their next door neighbour, Mr. Rottweiler's gas supply. Whilst pretending that they don't use gas, they proceed to assault the Gasman and soon realise that they may have accidentally killed him. Richie and Eddie set out to disconnect their illegal connection from Mr. Rottweiler's flat, before they get into trouble with the Gas Board.—Daniel Williamson

The boys are playing card games in the living room heated by an illegal gas pipeline, siphoning from their neighbor, the doorbell rings and a gas board employee is there, Eddie hurriedly shuts off the gas. The gasman goes in the flat and the boys attempt to stall and make weak excuses. The neighbors have complained of high gas bills meaning the illegal gas pipe could be found. When the stalling fails they attack the gasman and he lays motionless on the floor, they fear they've killed him.

Attempts at resuscitation don't work, they think of ideas to get rid of the body, Richie suggests eating him, then Eddie hides it under the carpet, neither idea works. Eddie suggests putting him on the roof of a bus, just as they're about to throw the body on to the roof of a bus the gasman regains consciousness and they see him out quickly. They take it upon themselves to disconnect the gas supply, they can't get in through the door as the neighbor, the surly Mr Rottweiler doesn't like either them to begin with and has a woman indoors whom he is in love with.

Richie plots getting in through the landing wall into the kitchen, Eddie demolishes the wall with a sledgehammer, the other side of the wall is Rottweiler's bedroom not the kitchen, they venture in anyway, Richie repairs the wall while Eddie goes into the kitchen to dismantle their pipeline, he accidentally opens the fridge and helps himself to its contents. Richie has fixed the wall and spots Rottweiler's lover, a beautiful woman, he clambers into the bed next to her and gets caught in Rottweiler's sleeping embrace.

Eddie has eaten all the food and sets to work, he tries forcing the pipe out and slips back crashing into a selection of kitchenware, smashing all of it. He hurriedly puts the shards back and spots the pipe leaking gas, he shouts up to Richie who cannot get out until the combined weight makes the bed collapse and he slips out. He's nearly hit by a back draft from the kitchen caused by Eddie attempting to burn off the excess gas, burning himself doing so and a flame jet is spewing from the kitchen gas pipe.

Eddie snaps up their illegal piping and they make a break for the front door where the gasman has arrived, they turn and escape through the bedroom and rebuild the wall behind them. The gasman rings the bell waking Rottweiler who sees the pipe spewing fire and runs for the door, the gasman is still there, Rottweiler drags him into the kitchen and shows the burning pipe, the gasman asks where the neighbors are, Rottweiler learns they were in his home and he is beside himself with rage.

Richie and Eddie have fixed the wall and think themselves in the clear, then Rottweiler smashes through wrapping his arms around their necks.
