It's A Choice Between Money or Friends

Comedy is the basis for this episode. It's the second of three episodes involving the father and daughter pairing of Dub Taylor and Ann Prentiss. Here George Morgan needs to find work, if he's going to marry Prentiss. And Victor French and Robert Donner are going to get run off by Taylor if they don't get productive. So they go into horse trading. Meanwhile Hoss and Joe are trying to make it in the horse trading business themselves. None of this requires much analysis. There's enough laughs to keep this going. Lou Frizzell does a good job of playing someone, who never gets a break. Hoss and Joe gamble Frizzell can get something right, and they hire him. It's fascinating how a price war is solved.
