Hoss goes Dutch treat

In this Bonanza story Dan Blocker is assaulted and robbed of everything including his memory. When husband and wife immigrant Dutch farmers find him Blocker has some severe amnesia.

Robert Emhardt and Signe Hasso are the farmers and they lost their son and Hasso is quite willing to adopt Blocker as their own. Even after Lorne Greene comes calling looking for his lost middle son.

This was a really tender and gentle episode with Hasso just wonderful as the grieving mother.

When Christina Vandervort is trying to come up with a name for Hoss, who has lost his memory, she suggests "Eric". On the show, that is Hoss's given name.

Goofs
When shown from the outside, the entrance to the Vandervorts' ranch is perpendicular to the two windows on the front of the house; however, when Ben follows Mrs. Vandervort into the house, from the inside the entrance is along the same wall/angle as the two windows.
