The same year, Cliff Osmond, who plays the brash member of "the fat group," is in a movie called Sharks' Treasure in which he's shirtless, tall more or less thin. It's most likely he was made to look more hefty for this episode.

Goofs
Jerry says that in order to determine the winner of the football pool, take the difference in the scores and subtract multiples of 5, and the winning number would be in the range of 1-9 - in this case, 6. However, 6 through 9 could not be a winning number, as they would reduce to 1 through 4 respectively (so the winning number could only be in the range of 1-5 and his calculation was also in error).

Continues most so far season 4's only ok episodes.

Cliff Osmond gives a strong performance. He was also memorable in "All in the Family" Prisoner in the House episode.

Gets bizarre on his choice of date movies and the fact Carol goes forward with the date and Bob doesn't stop the date knowing the itinerary. Odd that 2 of the 4 overweight in the group aren't overweight.

Funny Howard bit struggling to outsmart stick on floor tile. Strong cast makes an average episode decent.
