Charity Begins at Home

Mike and his friends have decided to love on bread and water, donating the money they would have spent on food to Oxfam, he encourages his parents to do the same, they agree, but Sid finds it hard, and does his best so sneak a snack when he can.

This was a fairly fun episode, with some amusing scenes, including that funny moment where Sid tries to shove a wedge of chocolate cake down, and of course that terrific moment where he cheats time.

Fair to say it's not the funniest episode so far, but it does benefit from the presence of Sid James, who is terrific here.

There was no such thing as intermittent fasting back in 1971, just note how slim the cast are.

There's no worse feeling than being hungry, and as I watch this episode, I'm doing a 48 hour fast, that chocolate cake made my stomach rumble, it looked so good.
