Loxton and Ackland are called to an incident at a flat, en route he almost crashes into a Vauxhall Senator, June makes a mental note of the numberplate. Reg does a random check, and strikes gold.
Pretty good this one, though not hugely memorable, we've had a few joyrider stories, this is definitely one of the more average ones, they've done it all before, better. There's little in the way of aggravation or conflict, so it kind of passes by somewhat.
A decent car chase scene, but again they have done them so much better in the past. I like how they are now openly slating that Rover Metro, not the car you'd want to be in chasing a Peugeot 205 GTI, that was up there with the XR2 as a boy racer's dream.
A pretty good scene at the conclusion, where the mother naturally blames The Police, as opposed to the joy riding little darling.
I wondered if we'd get to see Mark Letheren on an episode of The Bill, here he is as Justin, though underneath all of the makeup he's hardly recognisable.
Pretty average, but ok, 6/10.
