Stamp and Quinnan attend an incident at a pub, two men at the end of a fight, one unconscious, the other....a familiar face.
I purposely have not been looking ahead at episode details, but it recently became obvious that Ted has been on his way out for some time, every single story he's been involved in of late, he's crossed the line.
Great scenes as you'd expect between Ted and Burnside, I thought Ted's talks with Monroe were fantastic, such a stickler for the rules, but he's good at heart. The Burnside/Roach duo had been the best element of the show for years, this episode drives a bulldozer through that.
Ted has become a bit of a loose cannon, and as brilliant as Tony Scannell is, perhaps the character has run his course.
A great character gets a great send off episode, but as with all great characters, he'd be back. I wonder if he had a hand in choosing how he departed.
Fantastic episode, 10/10.
