When I first saw this episode as a child, I fell in love with it. I've always loved everything having to do with ancient Egypt. However, now that I am an adult, and have purchased the DVD box set, I can understand all of the factual errors of the episode. Two in particular really irk me: 1) The name of the mummy: Mina? Mina is a German name deriving from "Wilhelmina". Wouldn't a Egyptian name be more appropriate? 2) In the the episode, the archaeologist says that "Mina" was a goddess. Why would a Egyptian goddess be entombed in a sarcophagus? And why would she need the ring and elixir of life. Goddesses are supposed to be immortal anyway. If she were a queen with magic powers or a sorceress, this would make more sense.
