- Gentleman Jim Corbett: You're really not against boxing?
- Annie Oakley: No, I'm all for it. I'd much rather see men fight with five-ounce gloves than with pistols and rifles. What the West needs is more boxing gloves and less six-shooters - more physical culture and less gun culture.
- Tagg Oakley: He doesn't have to give up that belt because he's still the world's undisputed champion.
- Annie Oakley: Mr Corbett, could you stay here until Saturday?
- Gentleman Jim Corbett: Well, I could stay much longer.
- Deputy Sheriff Lofty Craig: Annie said: Until Saturday!
- Gentleman Jim Corbett: Just understand one thing, Miss Oakley, the moment I step in that ring on Saturday, I'll be in there fighting. I'll polish off every man as fast as I can. Oh, it's not the money, it's the reputation that goes with this belt. I fought hard for that reputation. I intend to keep it.
- Deputy Sheriff Lofty Craig: Y'know, Annie, if you really want me to, I think this jaw might go another round.
- Annie Oakley: Well, that jaw might go another round, but I don't think Mr Corbett's pocketbook will.
- Deputy Sheriff Lofty Craig: Tomahawk, I hope you slug him all over the ring.
- Tomahawk Tommy: So do I. What have you got against him?
- Deputy Sheriff Lofty Craig: Oh, you wouldn't understand.
- [And the jealous Lofty gives the boxing bag a hefty slug]
- Annie Oakley: Hey, do you realise you just went 17 rounds with the campion of the world?
- Deputy Sheriff Lofty Craig: Only 17? Felt more like 70.
- Deputy Sheriff Lofty Craig: YOU WANT ME TO GO THREE ROUNDS WITH THE WORLD'S CHAMPION! Oh, come on, Annie.
- Annie Oakley: Oh, come on, Lofty, you've just got to.
- [She unbuttons most of his shirt]
- Annie Oakley: It's for the new school.
- Deputy Sheriff Lofty Craig: [He rebuttons his shirt] I like the old school and, besides, I've got to guard the prisoner.
- Annie Oakley: I'll guard him.
- [She works on unbuttoning his shirt again]
- Annie Oakley: Now, come on, Lofty, go, we gotta go.
