Joyce Van Patten plays Mrs. Hollander. A very versatile character actress whose career included over 150 roles. She played everything from the gracious Mrs. Hollander, to the shrewish Joyce in I Love You, Alice B. Toklas! (1968) to the dowdy Cleveland in The Bad News Bears (1976)
Every car parked at the Hollander's for the father and son get together is a Lincoln Continental. Ford Motor Company provided automobiles for the entire run of the series.
Sandy Kenyon plays George Hollander. The previous season he played the history class moderator, George, in Goober Makes History (1966).
