    • Trivia
After Sally becomes famous, she appears in a dress and makeup reminiscent of that worn by character Norma Desmond (played by Gloria Swanson) from the movie "Sunset Boulevard" (1950). Harry's role is like that of Norma's butler Max. Harry's line ("It's not her that's gotten too big; it's the planet that's gotten smaller") is similar to Norma's line ("I am big; it's the pictures that have gotten smaller").
    • Goofs
A caller to the TV show says that Sally, not Mark Hamill, should be in the next Star Trek movie, when he should've said Star Wars. Although, that might've been part of the joke.
    • Quotes

Tommy Solomon: Sally, they want you to be on 'Good Afternoon, Rutherford'.

Harry Solomon: That's my second-favorite show!

Dr. Dick Solomon: What's your first-favorite?

      Harry Solomon: 'Good Morning, Rutherford'.

    • Crazy credits
During the end-credits, an additional scene is shown with Dick, Tommy & August.
    • Connections
Featured in The 49th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards (1997)
