George Street Playhouse and Artistic Director David Saint welcome New Jersey native John Tartaglia, from the original Broadway cast of Avenue Q, as well as TV's Sesame Street and the Emmy Award - nominated Johnny and the Sprites to New Brunswick as the sole cast member of Buyer amp Cellar, the fourth production of the New Brunswick theatre's current season. Mr. Tartaglia will take the fictional journey to the fictional version of Barbra Streisand's fictional basement through March 29. Opening night is set for tonight, March 6. Mr. Saint helms the production.

The 12.14 Foundation has just announced that Emmy Award, Tony Award, and Drama Desk Award nominated John Tartaglia Avenue Q, Shrek, Johnny and the Sprites will portray 'The Cat in the Hat' and lead a cast comprised of 86 Newtown area students in Seussical The Musical written by Tony Award winning team Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty. The production will be presented August 9, 10 and 11 at Newtown High School.

Feinstein's At Loews Regency, the nightclub proclaimed "Best of New York" by New York Magazine, and "an invaluable New York institution" by The New York Post, continues its 10th Anniversary season with the debut of "Avenue Q" and "Shrek" star John Tartaglia on March 30. Mr. Tartaglia's show will include "I Wish I Could Go Back To College" from "Avenue Q," "Time To Wake Up" from his Disney TV show "Johnny And The Sprites" and an original cut song from "Shrek," in addition to funny stories about his life and career. The show will be at the Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street).
