This movie starts off slow, but picks up the pace and engrosses the viewers soon enough. You cannot piece the puzzle together until almost the last 20 minutes, and some scenes seem disconnected until the time of the realization. But, yet, the realization is not an "aha" moment, but a "oh. .is that so".. So, some parts of the plot seem contrived. But compared to the run of the mill telugu movies, this is a lot .. i mean a lot, better.
Narrative, screenplay and direction are good. Like another user mentioned earlier here, there is a documentary touch to some shots. Narrative seems a bit slow at times, but it could be because the pieces seem disconnected.
Charmy did a good job, both as the free spirit initially, the terrified/worried one later.. She also did a good job as the drugged one, but there she seemed to imitate the terrific portrayal of sridevi in "vasantha kokila"..
Jagapathi babu and the hero did a good job too. The "school master" character was funny and had us in splits. Good pun in the over-enthusiastic English was well written - like "u want to come inside from outside", "u dance , i glance"..
All in all - a movie that is definitely recommended.
