Warner Bros. Movies including 'Dungeons & Dragons' Available on YouTube for Free
Image
In a bold and time-relevant move that is sure to delight movie fans, Warner Bros. Entertainment has made 31 of its full-length movies available for free on its YouTube channels, including 2000's Dungeons & Dragons, and the Jackie Chan movie Mr. Nice Guy. The refreshing approach to content distribution, however, is a strategy that aims to boost visibility and generate digital ad revenue, with the additional benefit of making a diverse range of cinematic gems accessible to a wider audience.

According to Variety, ever since 2025 began, the entertainment giant has quietly been dropping movies on its Warner Bros.-owned YouTube channels, all available to stream for free. Of course, the movies still include ads for those who do not own a YouTube Premium subscription. These movies include a mix of genres and eras, with titles like the 1935 adventure Mutiny on the Bounty, the 2002 sci-fi comedy starring Eddie Murphy, The Adventures of Pluto Nash,...

Over 30 Warner Bros. movies available to stream free on YouTube
Image
Warner Bros. Discovery may not be ready to launch a free ad-supported streaming TV (Fast) service of its own just yet, but the company is on the lookout for ways to boost its digital ad revenue. Its latest tactic is to add free movies to YouTube. Wbd has put more than 30 full-length films on the social video platform to stream at no cost, as long as you don’t mind putting up with a few commercials.

Key Details: Movies featuring Kevin Bacon, Chevy Chase, Robert De Niro, and other stars are streaming free on YouTube. None of the films are currently available to stream on the company’s platform Max. Wbd licenses plenty of content to Fast platforms, but has made no public progress on its own Fast platform. Sign Up $9.99+ / month max via prime video

The list of movies from Wbd that are now available to stream free on YouTube can be seen here.

Warner Bros. Releases 31 Free Movies on YouTube—Here’s the Full List
Image
Movie lovers, rejoice! Warner Bros. has quietly made 31 full-length movies available to stream for free on YouTube. This move allows viewers to enjoy classic and lesser-known films without a subscription, though they do come with ads unless you have YouTube Premium.

Over the years, Warner Bros. has experimented with different ways to make money from its vast catalog of films. It launched FilmStruck, a subscription streaming service, in 2018, but shut it down less than a year later. Since then, the company has focused on licensing movies to free, ad-supported platforms like Roku and Tubi.

Now, Warner Bros. is trying a new approach—releasing movies directly on YouTube. This move allows the studio to generate revenue through digital ads while making films more accessible to a wider audience.

The selection of movies is quite diverse, covering different genres and decades. Some of the highlights include:

Classic films: Mutiny on the Bounty...

Warner Bros. Releases 31 Full-Length Movies on Its YouTube Channels, Streaming for Free
Image
Over the years, Warner Bros. has tried to monetize its catalog of older movies through different subscription streaming services, including FilmStruck — which it shut down less than a year after it launched in 2018.

Now, Warner Bros. Entertainment has quietly taken a new approach to bringing its content to YouTube to farm its film catalog for digital ad revenue.

Since the start of 2025, the company has released 31 movies on Warner Bros.-owned YouTube channels, all available for free. The movies include ads, unless you are a YouTube Premium subscriber. Warner Bros. has published a YouTube playlist with the free movies, available at this link.

The titles are varied and cut across genres, with some films on the list dating back decades. The movies include “Mutiny on the Bounty” starring Marlon Brando, “The Adventures of Pluto Nash” starring Eddie Murphy, “Oh, God!” featuring George Burns in the titular role, “The Mission” starring Robert De Niro,...

Warner Bros. Added Films With Liam Neeson & Marlon Brando to YouTube That are Free to Watch
Image
In a very uncharacteristic move by Warner Bros., the studio has uploaded 31 movies to stream on YouTube for free. There is a perception that those who are watching a movie via a streaming service over going to the theater, is that it's free to do, despite paying a monthly subscription. Those streaming platforms are more costly than ever, and people are starting to make cuts to what could be a must-have service. Yet, a movie on YouTube that can be watched for free with no rental fee or any commercials, is something Warner Bros. is looking to offer movie fans with titles like the first Dungeons & Dragons, Mutiny on the Bounty, and the Jackie Chan-led Mr. Nice Guy.

Warner Bros. Entertainment's YouTube page made a playlist of movies that can be watched for free, some of which are critically acclaimed hits. These include Palme d'Or winner The Mission starring Robert DeNiro,...

Critters 4 (1992)
Warner Bros has put a bunch of free films on YouTube, including Critters 4
Critters 4 (1992)
Warner Bros has released 17 of its films to watch for free on YouTube, including Critters 4 and Waiting For Guffman. Here’s the full list of titles:

YouTube has come to rival TV channels and streaming services with its extensive library of shows, tutorials and, naturally, clips of people making fools of themselves.

Warner Bros has tapped into this vast resource by releasing some of its films to watch, in full, for free on the platform. That’s music to our ears, especially as Netflix is hiking up its prices again.

Don’t expect to find Furiosa or Juror #2 on YouTube just yet, though. The playlist is made up of films ranging from the mid-1980s all the way to 2008, with gems like Critters 4, Mr Nice Guy and Waiting For Guffman. We can also guarantee you no AI was used in the making of these films, although you might...

Daniel Radcliffe’s 41% Rotten Tomatoes Romance Drama Is Now Available To Watch for Free
Image
Daniel Radcliffe's career took off at such a young age when he starred as the titular The Boy Who Lived in all eight Harry Potter movies. After the franchise concluded back in 2011 with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, Radcliffe went on to star in various features that have showcased his acting prowess beyond the Wizarding World. While primarily known for the role back in the early 2000s, the actor actually starred in a 2007 Australian drama called December Boys in between filming the Harry Potter series. And it's now available to watch for free on YouTube, courtesy of Warner Bros. Entertainment.

All Daniel Radcliffe Movies Ranked
Image
Throughout his career, Daniel Radcliffe has appeared in a wide range of movies, from a blockbuster franchise about a boy wizard to an existential drama about a farting corpse, with varying success. For his acclaimed roles in both big-budget tentpole movies and smaller indie fare, Radcliffe has received accolades ranging from Critics’ Choice Awards to MTV Movie Awards. Radcliffe successfully made the leap from child actor to bonafide movie star, and he's one of the only actors to successfully break free from the iconic blockbuster franchise role that made them famous.

By playing wildly subversive roles like a gun-toting gamer in Guns Akimbo, a horned murder suspect in Horns, and a farting corpse in Swiss Army Man, Radcliffe post-Harry Potter career has been a success, as he has become a renowned performer in his own right. He can switch seamlessly between the wackiest of comedies and the darkest of dramas,...

Don Cheadle, Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Ben Kingsley, Guy Pearce, and Paul Bettany in Iron Man 3 (2013)
Link Tank: Why Iron Man 3 Is a Good Marvel Movie
Don Cheadle, Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Ben Kingsley, Guy Pearce, and Paul Bettany in Iron Man 3 (2013)
Iron Man 3 is one of the most panned Marvel movies on there, but here’s why it doesn’t deserve its awful reputation.

“I’m so sorry that everyone on the internet has decided to have the worst opinions when it comes to Marvel movies, but while talking about the worst movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, you best keep Iron Man 3 out ya mouth. Easily the best movie in the Iron Man trilogy, I think that Iron Man 3 gets a bad rap because it pushed the envelope, which then informed movies like Captain America: The Winter Soldier in the emotional impact these situations have on their characters.”

The Evolution of Daniel Radcliffe: From ‘Harry Potter’ to ‘Equus’ to ‘Miracle Workers’ (Photos)
Daniel Radcliffe
Daniel Radcliffe began acting when he was 6 years old, playing a monkey in a school play. By the time he was 12, he was an international movie star, taking on the role of Harry Potter in a series of film adaptations of J.K. Rowling’s books. He went on to portray everything from a World War I soldier killed in battle to a talking corpse with digestive issues to a political prisoner. Just take a look at his impressive body of work.

“David Copperfield” (1999) • This two-part BBC adaptation of the Charles Dickens classic Radcliffe’s TV debut… and the first time he worked with future “Harry Potter” costar Maggie Smith. He played “young David.”

“The Tailor of Panama” (2001) • Radcliffe’s first feature film — a spy thriller directed by John Boorman — he played the son of Geoffrey Rush and Jamie Lee Curtis.

“Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” (2001) and “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets...

Paul Dano and Daniel Radcliffe in Swiss Army Man (2016)
The Kids Are Alright: How Ya Stars Have Become The Unlikely Saviors Of American Indie Film
Paul Dano and Daniel Radcliffe in Swiss Army Man (2016)
Our national nightmare is over: After more than a decade of dystopian futures, obtuse love triangles, and weak Charli Xcx singles, Hollywood’s flash-in-the-pan love affair with Ya film adaptations has finally run its course. You can feel it in the air, and you can see it in the dwindling box office returns. The climactic installments of “The Maze Runner” and “The Divergent Series” are still on the horizon, and an unusually promising adaptation of John Green’s “Looking for Alaska” continues to percolate in pre-production, but bodies tend to wriggle for a little while after they’re officially pronounced dead. The fact of the matter is that Voldemort has been vanquished, the people of District 12 have overthrown The Capitol, and Bella Swan has stopped pouting. There will always be movies made for the tween audience, but make no mistake: The Ya world as we know it has come to an end.

Daniel Radcliffe Tells Playboy How He Avoided Becoming a Child Star Gone Bad: "I F--king Loved the Work"
Daniel Radcliffe
When it comes to child stars, Daniel Radcliffe is the exception to the rule. While actors including Shia Labeouf and Lindsay Lohan spent years making headlines for all the wrong reasons, Radcliffe kept his eye on the prize and managed to avoid the trappings of fame that befall so many young stars. In Playboy's 20 Questions feature, Radcliffe reflects on playing Harry Potter in eight films over the course of 10 years and how it's shaped the man he is today. "When I did my first non-Potter film, December Boys, I became good friends with one of the makeup and hair teams," he says of the 2007 movie. "After a few weeks, I said, 'So, honestly, what did you expect when you were going to get me?'...

Interview: Daniel Radcliffe discusses ‘What If?’
Daniel Radcliffe has been acting since the age of 9, when he played the young David Copperfield opposite Maggie Smith in the BBC’s 1999 adaptation of the classic Dickens story. But it was in 2001, when Radcliffe was cast as the titular boy wizard of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone that he became an internationally recognised movie star. Eight feature films, adapted from the seven novels by Jk Rowling, were to follow, grossing more than $7bn at the global box office.

With roles in December Boys and My Boy Jack, Radcliffe proved he was no one-trick pony. But it was his 2007 turn on stage – in Thea Sharrock’s West End revival of Peter Shaffer’s play Equus – that established Radcliffe as a serious young actor. Then 17, Radcliffe earned rave reviews for his haunting turn as Alan Strang, a role that required him to disrobe. The actor was nominated for a...

What the Harry Potter Kids Are Doing Next: 'Frankenstein' and 'Cinderella'

Even if you weren’t a particular fan of J.K. Interview: Nicholas Hoult, Teresa Palmer Rev Up ‘Warm Bodies’
Chicago – With the popularity of TV’s “The Walking Dead,” and just the whole trend of faux zombie gatherings in social culture, the undead have never been more popular. A distinct twist on the concept is found in “Warm Bodies,” starring Nicholas Hoult and Teresa Palmer, portraying two very unlikely lovers, alive or undead.

“Warm Bodies is directed by Jonathan Levine (“50/50”) and takes place in a post-apocalyptic USA, where normal humans are walled off from brain eating zombies. LIke director and zombie master George Romero, Levine brings to visual life his own script using metaphor, emotion and humor to navigate the landscape of the undead.

Daniel Radcliffe: 'I'm Not What People Want In A Movie Star'
Daniel Radcliffe
Daniel Radcliffe is completely normal. This is always worth pointing out, because the young British actor has made it through his teenage years with barely a bump, an achievement indeed considering his turn at the centre of the world's biggest film franchise has meant that everything has been far from normal around him.

How has he done it? Well, to mark the arrival of the entire Potter franchise to the Sky Movies service, Daniel Radcliffe has sat down for a brand new, in-depth one hour interview in which he discusses his experiences of growing up on set, child stardom, handling the hype and media attention that came with the phenomenon, as well as life after Potter.

Daniel Radcliffe Looks Absolutely Sinful in New 'Horns' Still
Sure, he looks all innocent here, but just you wait.

It can be rather difficult for an actor to escape being typecast in a particular role they did in the past.  For Daniel Radcliffe, he'll pretty much always be best know for his work in Harry Potter films.  Aside from his other better-known roles, Radcliffe has enjoyed a successful stint on Broadway without really trying and has starred in such non-hp films as The Woman in Black and December Boys.  A little while back it was announced that he would be starring in literary adaptation Horns.

Daniel Radcliffe Through The Years: Celebrate His 23rd Birthday Today!
Wingardium leviosa! Levitating yet? Wait, let us try it again … wingardium leviosa-ahhh. Still not? Sorry, that’s the best we’ve got, looks like we need to get back to our spell books after this. Annnnywaay. Our favorite wizard is turning 23 today, and we couldn’t be more excited to draw some geeky yet charming lightening bolts on our foreheads. We can’t believe how grown up Mr. Radcliffe has become! It’s hard to believe that the same boy who ran into the wall at Platform 9 3/4 in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone is the same man who gave us a major case of the heebie geebies in The Woman in Black (we still haven’t forgiven you for that). Daniel has climbed his way to the top through eight Harry Potter movies, various other silver screen appearances like his role in December Boys in 2007, and his Broadway...

5 Things You Might Not Know About John Carpenter's 'The Thing'
June 25, 1982, was a good day for genre fans. Hell, that summer saw a spate of genre classics released, including "The Road Warrior," "Poltergeist," and "E.T." But June 25th in particular saw not only the release, as we discussed earlier today, of "Blade Runner," but also another legendary sci-fi picture, which like Ridley Scott's film, wasn't well-received at the time, and flopped at the box office, but went on to be enshrined in the geek hall of fame. No, it's not Barry Bostwyck vehicle "MegaForce," but John Carpenter's terrifying "The Thing," which despite the efforts of last year's poor retread/prequel, remains one of the greatest sci-fi/horrors ever made.

Technically a remake of Howard Hawks' well-loved 1951 "The Thing From Another World," which Carpenter pays tribute to in the opening moments, the new film took a very different approach, ramping up both the paranoia and the eye-popping physical effects,...

Blu-ray Review: Sleepy Thriller ‘The Woman in Black’ Miscasts Daniel Radcliffe
Chicago – Nothing jars an audience quite like the sudden appearance of a fearsome apparition in a dimly lit room. Even hokey thrillers like William Castle’s “House on Haunted Hill” still manage to make viewers jump from their seats by using this reliable horror standby. “The Woman in Black” has one such moment, but it is surrounded by a murky sea of grim tedium.

This is a sleepy little haunted house picture that proves to be the worst possible post-“Potter” role for Daniel Radcliffe, who was straining to distance himself from the boy wizard even while completing the phenomenally successful franchise. His stage work has given him ample opportunities to take bold risks. His singing and dancing in Broadway’s “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying” raised nearly as many eyebrows as his nude scene in London’s “Equus” revival. Yet his screen roles outside of Hogwarts...

On The Rise 2012: 10 Actors We're Tipping For Stardom In The Future
Last week, we took a look at the relative dearth of leading men in Hollywood: why Tom Cruise, Will Smith, et al. remain at the top of the tree and why so few serious competitors have emerged since. But one of the most exciting things about our job is getting to watch the new names that emerge, breakouts who have the potential to join the A-listers, or at the very least, deliver a host of hugely exciting performances for decades to come.

So we've decided to kick off our On The Rise selection for 2012 by looking at some of the actors who we're tipping for big things in the next few years. Last time we made these kinds of picks and predictions we did pretty well, listing the likes of Joel Edgerton, Edgar Ramirez, Jason Sudeikis, Adam Scott, Jake Johnson and David Oyelowo who have all gone on to become much-sought-after names,...

The Woman in Black scares the bejesus out of the UK box office
Daniel Radcliffe's scary date movie could make him a bankable lead, while The Muppets does well but still strings along behind

The winner

When Hammer announced a big-screen version of Susan Hill's popular ghost story The Woman in Black, starring Daniel Radcliffe, opinion was divided about the casting choice. Outside the Potter franchise, the actor had appeared only in Australian ensemble drama December Boys, which was appropriately modest at the box office. Could the 22-year-old, as industry parlance has it, "open" a movie?

As far as the UK market goes, the answer to this question is a resounding yes. With a debut weekend of £3.15m, The Woman in Black has exceeded all expectations, beating rival new entrant The Muppets (£2.65m). The period horror film won not just Friday (£890,000 v £473,000), which you'd expect on a school day, but also the family friendly Saturday (£1.30m v £1.16m). UK distributor Momentum Pictures...

Daniel Radcliffe vs. Robert Pattinson: Who's Winning...and Who's Losing?
Daniel Radcliffe and Teresa Palmer in December Boys (2007)
Daniel Radcliffe had a good weekend, but where does his career stack up against that of another actor who's likewise trying to prove his worth outside of a somewhat-popular franchise? Let's take a look. It's Harry Potter's Radcliffe vs. Twilight's Robert Pattinson:   Round One: The Art-house Debut Radcliffe's December Boys came and went in 2007; Pattinson's Little Ashes came and went in 2009. And while Little Ashes wound up making eight times as much money domestically as December Boys, December Boys wound up making about four times as much money internationally as Little Ashes.  Shall we call it even? No. The Winner:...

Teresa Palmer Uncovers 'Warm Bodies'
With the possible exception of Zooey Deschanel, it's hard to imagine an actress playing "dream girl" with more charm than Teresa Palmer. With her appearances in "December Boys," "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" and "Take Me Home Tonight," Palmer is securing a role as one of Hollywood’s up-and-coming love interests, as much for her down-to-earth personality as her stunning good looks.

In her upcoming film “Warm Bodies,” Jonathan Levine puts her remarkable co-star chemistry to the ultimate test. Palmer plays a young woman who finds herself slowly getting involved romantically with... a zombie. Speaking to the actress in Park City, Utah at the Sundance Film Festival after the premiere of her new film "Wish You Were Here," she explained how she wrapped her head around portraying attraction to the undead.

In order to play the kidnappee Julie, Palmer told NextMovie, she focused on the similarities between herself and the character.

Life after Twilight and Potter
The franchises are over. What's in store for the liberated stars of these blockbuster series?

Harry Potter has bitten the dust; the Twilight Saga is staggering to a close. While the film industry gets used to the idea that two of its biggest cash cows will no longer be delivering, 2012 marks the moment that a clutch of very rich, very famous actors, all in their late teens and early 20s, will be let loose on the cinematic world, to run their careers as they like.

Three of the most bankable names on the planet are Potter graduates: Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint. Another three are from Twilight: Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner. The Potter kids have been locked into their series for longer, and have had to negotiate a very public adolescence.

Radcliffe may be a lantern-jawed 22-year-old leading man, and Watson a 21-year-old fashion maven,...

The Australian actor, who is best known for his parts in Australia and December Boys, has been added to the cast list for Baz Luhrmann's new adaptation of the F Scott Fitzgerald novel alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire and Carey Mulligan. According to The Daily Telegraph, it is not yet known what character Thompson will play in the 3D movie. A source recently said that Luhrmann continues to "put the piece of the puzzle together" before filming begins. There have previously been rumours that the project will be a musical, but Mulligan has said: "There is no singing." (more)...

Watch: Trailers for 'The Woman in Black' and 'Puncture'
Somewhere out there, Daniel Radcliffe is rolling around on a bed, naked in his millions. Harry Potter has ended for the actor and although he's been staying busy on the stage with How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, it's time to see what else the English star can bring to the table. We haven't seen him in a un-Harry film since 2007's December Boys. Lucky for us, a longer trailer for his upcoming Hammer movie has arrived at Yahoo, The Woman in Black, and it's definitely a chiller. Eden Lake's James Watkins directs the Gothic tale that takes place in a small English town. Radcliffe plays Arthur Kipps, a young lawyer who is ordered to travel to a remote village to take care of a recently deceased client's papers. Working in an isolated...

The Woman in Black Trailer Starring Daniel Radcliffe
After nearly a decade of playing only one character, we're about to find out if Daniel Radcliffe can take on a role that isn't Harry Potter. Granted, he starred in Rod Hardy's indie drama December Boys back in 2007, but this will be his first attempt to carry a high profile film post-Potter, and at first glance, The Woman in Black almost looks like it could be set in the Harry Potter universe. In truth, it is a British horror / thriller based on a novel by Susan Hill, and a popular ghost story that has been previously adapted into a TV movie and a stage play. This new version is being directed by James Watkins (Eden Lake) and produced by Hammer Films. Radcliffe plays Arthur Kipps, a lawyer who is called to a remote village to deal the estate of a reclusive widow who has recently passed away. She lived...

Riddikulus! Harry Potter vs The Tony Awards
With the final Potter film mere weeks away, new posters released every day and the recent news that the red carpet at the Premiere is going to take up half of London, it’s easy to forget Daniel Radcliffe isn’t just Harry Potter.

In his other projects since Potter he’s shied away from the spotlight focusing on independent films such as December Boys and My Boy Jack and appearances in theatre productions such as Equus and How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. The upcoming film The Women in Black is probably the closest Radcliffe has come to returning to the spotlight since his departure from Potter starring as the lead in the critically acclaimed play adapted to screen by Jane Goldman for Hammer Films.

Although he wasn’t nominated for a Tony Award one of his cast mates was and we were treated to a performance...

Encore’s Power 50, 2011
For the second consecutive year, Encore has chosen a select group of screen professionals who have achieved new heights in 2010/2011, whose decisions influence and shape Australia’s audiovisual industry, and whose work has stood out from the crowd. These are our Power 50.

1. Emile Sherman – Producer

Last February, Sherman became the first Australian producer to receive an Academy Award for Best Picture, alongside his See-Saw Films partner Iain Canning, and Bedlam Productions’ Gareth Unwin. It also won at the BAFTAs and the Producers Guild of America, in addition to the many other honours for its cast and crew.

While technically a UK production, the Australianness of the film is undeniable – and so is its success; with a modest U$15m budget, The King’s Speech has grossed more than $405m worldwide – one of the most successful independent films of all time. Read Emile Sherman interview

2. Baz Luhrmann – Director, writer, producer

Exclusive Q&A: Teresa Palmer Shows Her '80s Candy Sweetness
Between starring in "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" last year and a gig opposite Harry Potter himself, Daniel Radcliffe (in "December Boys"), some sort of magic must have rubbed off on Teresa Palmer.

For starters, the 24-year-old Australian will soon have two buzzworthy performances in theaters. She's already kicking major alien butt in "I Am Number Four," and follows it up Friday as the '80s-era romantic heroine of "Take Me Home Tonight." While it's debatable which outfit the blond looks better in – her leathers and sunglasses as Number Six or her big hair and gold lamé dress for Tori – one thing is certain.

She's kind of awesome.

When we sat down with her to talk about her trip back in time, it was her frankness, humor and self-deprecation (in true Aussie style) that impressed us even more than her killer bod and gorgeous face. See for yourself…

You're pretty young. What...

Interview: I Am Number Four’s Teresa Palmer
Teen sci-fi action adventure I Am Number Four is released this week and Jez Sands had a word with one of the stars of the movie Teresa Palmer, who talks about the perils of stunt work, speaking with her native Aussie accent, becoming obsessed with Ducati motorcycles and deflowering Harry Potter.

Hi Teresa, how’re you doing?

I’m quite jetlagged. I’ve just come from Los Angeles

The UK screening was the other night, did you go to that?

I did not…

Slacker.

[Laughs] I attended the red carpet interviews and then we got introduced in front of the cinema but I’ve already seen the film, so I didn’t want to see it again. I’m going to wait to see it again at the Los Angeles premier.

Can you tell me about the film in your own words?

Yeah. The film follows the story of this disenfranchised guy,...

Daniel Radcliffe Wields Axe For The Woman In Black
In his second big-screen outing away from the looming shadow of the Potter franchise, Daniel Radcliffe cuts a rather more masculine frame in this new still from the upcoming The Woman In Black than maybe us muggles are used to. Sporting a 5 o’clock shadow and kitted out in a waistcoat and tie, this could finally be the role that helps Radcliffe escape the inevitable comparisons between himself and the boy wizard. Then again, the media said exactly the same thing about December Boys, and about fourteen people went to the cinema to see that. Ten of them were Radcliffe’s family and I think Radcliffe went twice.

Nonetheless, The Woman In Black is a wholly interesting tale that follows young solicitor Arthur Kipps (Radcliffe) as he ‘travels to rural England in order to deal with a recently deceased client’s paperwork, only to discover the vengeful ghost of a...

A brand new extended trailer has been sent to us by the lovely PR folks at Thinkjam for DJ Caruso’s forthcoming flick I Am Number Four. It opens from 18th February in the UK and stars Alex Pettyfer, Timothy Olyphant (always worth watching) and Dianna Agron.

Director Caruso is a solid talent in that Hollywood mainstream sort of way having cut his directing teeth on such flicks as The Salton Sea, Disturbia and Eagle Eye. So check out the trailer and see what you think. Might be good. Might be shite. Who knows?!

Daniel Radcliffe Admits 'Feud' With Robert Pattinson
Daniel Radcliffe has revealed there is a "feud" between him and fellow British actor Robert Pattinson. While discussing about his shirtless scene in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I" at the film's junket in London, the 21-year-old actor joked he and the Edward Cullen of the "Twilight Saga" series fight over who has the paler skin.

"I was saying to somebody the other day - someone was talking about this supposed rivalry between Rob Pattinson and I, and what's awesome about this is, between the pair of us, we are striking a blow for the paler man," Daniel told Access Hollywood's Tim Vincent. With a laugh, he went on to admit, "We are white as sheets, so it's a comfort!".

The "December Boys" star also admitted he is flattered by fans' reaction over his shirtless scene in the first of the final two installments of "Harry Potter". He said,...

First Look at Daniel Radcliffe in Something That's Not 'Harry Potter'
Daniel Radcliffe in The Woman in Black

Photo: Hammer Films I have no idea how far Daniel Radcliffe will be able to take his career beyond the Harry Potter franchise, which will be ending with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II on July 15, 2011, but he's managed some work since starring as the titular star of one of the biggest filmed franchise ever such as December Boys in 2007 and a voice over bit on "The Simpsons." However, the true test is soon to come and it will begin with the horror film, The Woman in Black for Hammer Films and the first pics have just been released.

Jane Goldman (Kick-Ass) adapted Susan Hill's ghost story for the screen, which follows a young lawyer, Arthur Kipps (Radcliffe), who is ordered to travel to a remote village and sort out a recently deceased client's papers. As he works alone in the client's isolated house,...

Meet the Six Contenders for Spider-Man’s Love
This week, the Hollywood Reporter’s Heat Vision blog learned of six possible candidates to play the love interest in Sony’s Spider-Man reboot. The lovely young ladies, ranging from ages 19 to 25, are meeting with director Marc Webb and Andrew Garfield within the month to discuss the role.

However, in a departure from Sam Raimi’s trilogy, Peter Parker’s girlfriend will not be the redheaded Mary Jane Watson. It seems the reboot will start with a different love interest, presumably Spidey’s first love Gwen Stacy.

Speculation is that Garfield’s age (27) could relocate the origin story from high school to undergraduate study at Empire State University, where he meets Stacy. In the comics, the two develop a romance until Stacy dies in a confrontation with the Green Goblin, and her untimely demise brings Parker closer to his eventual wife, Mary Jane. So it’s very possible they’ll both be introduced.

Daniel Radcliffe Becomes Inseparable From a Mystery Brunette
"Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe might have landed his heart on one young lady in particular. The actor, who just turned 21 on July 23, was recently seen strolling to shops near his West London home with a mystery brunette, who was inseparable from the actor in the last few weeks, Daily Mail reported.

During the afternoon outing, both Daniel and the mystery girl were spotted laughing and smiling. At one point, the brunette, who donned a loose white T-Shirt, a skirt and black leggings and is taller than Daniel, was seen clinging her left hand on the arm of Daniel, who took cover behind sunglasses.

According to the site, this wasn't the first time Daniel and the mystery brunette were seen spending their time together. Daniel was said inviting her to accompany him on a trip to St Petersburg, Russia to celebrate his 21st birthday. The mystery girl also reportedly joined...

Daniel Radcliffe Turns Head to Horror With 'The Woman in Black'
Daniel Radcliffe is taking a leap from action fantasy to horror thriller for his big screen project post-"Harry Potter". Having wrapped the filming of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" in June, the 20-year-old actor has signed on to star in the big screen adaptation of Susan Hill's 1983 novel, "The Woman in Black".

In the film directed by James Watkins, the star of Broadway play "Equus" will take on the role of young lawyer named Arthur Kipps. Traveling to a remote side of the United Kingdom to work alone on deceased client's papers in an old house, he will discovers that the local village is haunted by the ghost of a scorned woman set on vengeance.

Beside joining the movie which is expected to begin its production this fall, the star of "December Boys" has also lined up several other projects. He will return to Broadway stage for...

Daniel Radcliffe Joins Woman In Black
Typecasting is unfortunately a common result of the Hollywood machine and one of the hardest positions to break out of in the biz. Look at Mark Hamill. Because of his character in Star Wars we.ll always see him as that whiny farm boy from Tatooine. Despite the virtually unavoidable side effect of playing a lead in a long running series, we.ve all known for quite some time that actor Daniel Radcliffe is doing his best to break the chains of typecasting before they can lock. Radcliffe took time during his seemingly endless work on the Harry Potter series to film December Boys, and more famously opened Equus on the West End in London as well as here on Broadway, a feat few stage actors have accomplished. If you weren.t convinced then that we.d keep seeing the enthusiastic actor back on screen without his circular glasses and...
