The movie was shot in 12 days on a shoestring budget with no permits. Several times during the production, cops showed up and kicked the cast and crew off location. Most scene,s in the movie were shot in one take. Shooting the film was a risk not only for the cast and crew but also for the artist who provided the graffiti for the film, for they were real graffiti artist and most of the property defaced in the film was done without permission. Writer/director Terrence Williams also did some of the graffiti work in the film. Having been an ex-tagger and done time for his former craft, most of the script was based on actual events from the director's life and some of the locations used were actual spots where some of the events took place.
