This film is one of many that are included in a collection of short films entitled "Shorts: Volume Four". This and the rest of the films in this series are interesting shorts made mostly but up and coming film makers.

The film begins with a lot of strange looking people milling about a modern art exhibit. I really liked the way the producers found the most amazing looking people (in particular the one lady)--and it looked a bit like a Fellini film as a result (since he was renowned for finding odd-looking minor characters). Soon, they announce that Exhibit 42 is ready and the people all file into a room where there is a goldfish in a blender filled with water. It seems this is like performance art--to see if any of the patrons have the nerve to push the button and puree the helpless fish. What happens next is rather funny and weird--but I don't want to say more and spoil it.

The film is funny and it might be intended as a PETA-like appeal to treat animals well (even a dumb goldfish), though I can't read the mind of the director or writer. Still, regardless, it's clever and very interesting.
