The copy of this Mack Sennett short that I looked at seems to have been the second reel of this two-reel comedy, consisting of the day trip that Ralph Graves, pretty nurse Olive Borden, and assorted family members like Marvin Loback, William McCall and Eva Thatcher take. It's full of the usual late-silent Sennett gags, including disintegrating cars, pretty girls dangling in a way that exposes their shapely legs, and people falling into the water.
It's all handled in a thoroughly comic manner by director Lloyd Bacon. Sennett's operations well a well-oiled machine that could turn out a funny comedy, full of gags big and little with such proficiency that you didn't have to be a comic to star in them; hence Ralph Graves.
