This is probably the best show I have ever seen on the Discovery Channel. Miles Daisher is the greatest skydiver/skier I have ever seen! I have been looking for Extreme Tribes on the Internet for about 6 months now, but I can't find it! I wish I could find this show on DVD, because I would buy it in a heart-beat!! I watched this show when I was on a cruise last summer. The re-runs were played on the Discovery Channel. My brother, my friend and I found ourselves wanting more Miles!! I would recommend this show to anyone who loves extreme adventures; and with the crazy antics of Miles Daisher, it completes the package. For some reason, I can't find Extreme Tribes Anywhere! Where has it gone?? I need more MILES!!!!

the only 'extreme' thing about this TV show was how bad it was

Holy cow. What an embarrassment. Imagine the worst climbing movies ever (K2, Vertical Limit, etc..) which make anyone who knows anything about mountaineering or climbing absolutely cringe. Now imagine something twice as bad, only it's real. This show is an extremely self-indulgent venture which follows a band of so-called "extreme" athletes who spend time dreaming up extremely pointless stunts for this particular TV show. Ego-centric Miles Daisher takes the cake by explaining how safe and serious the sport of BASE jumping is...and then later giggling to the camera after a jump because the chute he used was packed a year previous. ha ha. At the end of this show, the weary band of adventurers blows up and sets fire to the vehicle they were using in their travels. Not exactly eco-friendly. What a bunch of idiots. This show certainly puts a marker on the actual time the terms "extreme" and "tribes" no longer became cool to use.
This was exciting TV. Give us more of Miles!

This show was great. The stunts and personalities were fun to watch. That Miles guy is quite a character. We should see him on other shows. He is a riot! He has a personality for television. He should be hosting some type of show. He seems to have that charisma and charm that would keep people engaged to your set for a while. The stunts on this were completely radical and the blowing up of the car was absolutely hilarious. My family really enjoyed watching this. Can't wait for their next excursion. I would would not be surprised to see this guy doing more things. I believe he works for Red Bull and BASE jumps out of Idaho. Is there more planned for this group. They should take their act to other places in the world.
