Now for part two
mmcgee2827 September 2019
Warning: Spoilers
This is part 2 of the double feature white coaters released by Vinegar Syndrome. I had gotten a print from s.w.v it was scratchy with a scratchy sound track and the narration incomplete and begining scene incomplete. New print far more pristine clear sound track and complete narration and the begining . The only problem with this print is that the old print was letter box which means it was presented in widescreen . The restored version is one by thirty three by one. This results in distance shot rather than proper ratio. In spite of this it still is interesting. S.W.V. stated made in 1971. Then the other claimed that it was 70. I believe it was 70. Transition hardcore No money shots. The fact that one of the adult actresses playing the wife is wearing a 1970 pick tale hair do. Now this could have been shot in 70 then released in 71. In the pristine print you now see the fake doctor expressiing played by Paul Forrest, what this film is about and Linda ,playing Dr Ann ,who also wrote the screen play, express the problem Susan is having with Hubby , played by Joh by In Keith. You even have John Dullaghan again playing hubby in the nude in the shower playing around his wife. Then in bed some soft sex, you know he never do hardcore, as parents right before daughter knocks on door demanding that her mother gets up and feeds her. You later see these couples doing hardcore sex position on a clear circular table held on by an thin plastic string that could break any time. You hear fake women Doctor stating that since your married be abandon in bed Many of the sex scenes are accompanied by poetry of.Elizabeth Barret Browning. I'm guessing this was probably show at the Pussy cat too. Now back to part one , " Sessions of love therapy. 09/06/19

Poor condition print of a poor specimen

Suffering from a terrible print used by SWV to preserve this white-coater, it is nonetheless a subpar hardcore porn offering from the pseudo-documentary era. I'm sure the other vid companies (Blue Underground, Salvation, etc.) aren't wasting time trying to restore this baby to pristene original quality.

Fake Dr. Ann Foster (who IMDb lists as a real writer because the pseudonym hasn't been traced down), played by Lindis Guinness, hosts and boringly narrates this junker, trying to help a couple of married women with their sexual problems. However, that format is dropped soon in favor of a bizarre and pointless stress on a revolving lucite platform where various demo couples fornicate in (check the title) a mind-numbing variety of positions, lit from below, while psychedelic lighting and visual distortion tries to keep it interesting. This reminded me of those classic sex/exercise videos from the '90s by Ron Harris, only hardcore.

Occasionally there are insert shots of lovely exterior scenes, with a nuclear family out in the forest, again to break up the tedium of the pretend-docu "educational" format. Most annoying is the Elizabeth Barrett Browning poetry voiced over by Peter Forster -completely out of place. All these distractions fail to hide the clinical approach.

Fans circa 1971 were paying for hardcore sex on screen, and they get short shrift here. There are innumerable shots of penetration, but the lighting and visual gimmickry conspire to mask it for most of the running time, so the film plays overall as softcore sex "plus". The fact that familiar and attractive porn actresses like Annette Michael and Debra Christian are on hand helps kill the time. At 46 minutes (probably a couple of reels worth is missing), less is not exactly more, but certainly enough.
