A magical short film

Ahoy All, Steve Gelder has created a little gem here Although I cant really point my finger at any one element ..or in any one direction as to what makes the film so special..It is indeed Magical! The filmmaker has us wanting more ,,Right from the start it captures the mind , exploring the way in which romance in life affects our day to day lives,shedding light on simple peoples very real dilemmas..Touching our hearts as it takes us into the reality of it all.Who can explain magic..I know i cant ..watch this film an you will walk away with some idea in your head of what a modern independent low budget film can be ,,This film is a winner! Its not the best film in the world , simply a delight to watch and watch again.. Happy sailing Captain...._/)...

I caught Arc at the FAIF Film Festival held in the Mann's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Went to see a different short film a friend recommended, and was treated to this little gem, too. Very well-written and thought out, it seems really casual, but there's a lot going on between the two main characters and in the story. (Here comes the spoiler!!) I thought the twist with the crazy guy not being the arc Steve thought it would be was really good. A lot of people would have gone for the easy fix of having him be the catalyst that would make everything better, and even though he was, he wasn't not in the usual Hollywood sense, right? Anyway, i liked the movie. The acting was okay and I laughed out loud a few times and really kind of felt for the dude missing his girl. See it if you can, I guess. Peace.
