Liked it!

Liked it, but it comes nowhere near the original, to be honest. Suriya had done a good job, but cannot be compared with what Dileep has done with his role, I personally prefer the original Kunjikoonan rather than this, but this is not a bad movie at all! Amazing!

an lesson on how to deal with a physical handicap
yesuthasen16 July 2005
The main character's physical handicap is treated very well.

The friend treats the hero with a hunchback as he would treat a normal person, without any overt sympathy, and even makes fun of it sometimes in a good natured way.

The man with the hunchback carries it off well and there is no hint of self pity.

An object lesson in how to treat a physical handicap and the person with it.

Unfortunately the director has not been able to break away from some clichés and the film runs for longer than it should.

It is watchable and much better than the usual Tamil movie fare.
