Man if there was any movie less deserving of an award, it was Everything is Everything... The only time I came close to laughing was during the Ron Rico scenes. The other two were not needed, especially the one, done by I guess Chris Trew, where the guy tried to rewrite the national anthem was totally boring and unfunny. And then trying to tie it in at the end just looked stupid, like they were trying way too hard. The fella in the editing room should have chopped off like 20 minutes of this hellish nonsense and I can tell you right now that Christopher Guest should, in no way, be referenced to this pile of garbage. The only thing that is similar to his movies is that the characters talk to the camera, but they were funny, this was not. Do 50 people sitting in a film festival a favor and don't bother turning in these lengthy boring movies. I want 89 minutes of my life back... but since that's not possible, i want to make sure that 89 more minutes of my life isn't taken away by seeing another studio 8 feature film. Stick to the shorts. Cause in Baton Rouge, Louisiana you can screw people over with crap and label it a comedy!!
