I’ve spent an entire nine months defending my love of Teen Wolf, insisting that it’s more than tween fodder for young girls, and I’ve rightfully managed to guide a few skeptical observers into the light. In no way is Teen Wolf attempting to be a fully accomplished adult series, but it’s a hair above something like typical teen drama fare like Pretty Little Liars or Degrassi. It’s cinematic, it’s plot-driven, it has a long arc, and with 12 episodes a season wastes little time getting to its points. This is a good show, goddammit, and “Omega”, is a solid—if occasionally shaky—testament to that truth.
