TV’s Flash, Grant Gustin, has lined up one of his first film roles, with Deadline reporting that the former Glee star will be lending his talents to a new political drama, titled The Last Full Measure. Starring McU veteran Sebastian “Bucky” Stan, the film centers on a group of lawyers and former soldiers fighting the political elite in order to get a posthumous Medal Of Honor for Gustin’s character, Airman First Class William H. Pitsenbarger.
Fittingly, given Gustin’s day job, Pitsenbarger was basically a real-life superhero, serving in Vietnam in the Air Force’s prestigious Pararescueman program—i.e., the guys who drop out of helicopters into active combat zones, evacuating wounded soldiers and saving lives. Pitsenbarger died in 1966, after ordering a damaged chopper crew to leave him in an active war zone so that he could provide medical care and support to a crew of ...

Exclusive: ‘Gettysburg’ Director Ronald Maxwell Updates on ‘The Last Full Measure’ and ‘Belle Starr’
It’s been a decade since Civil War drama “Gods and Generals” was in the theaters. And that sequel followed the 1993 Civil War epic “Gettysburg.”
Will “The Last Full Measure” finally make it to the big screen after a long wait?
According to “Gettysburg” and “Gods & Generals” director Ronald F. Maxwell, Civil War fans may have to wait a little longer.
In an exclusive phone interview with Latino-Review, Maxwell carefully updated the status of adapting Jeffrey Shaara’s book about the Civil War after Gettysburg. He was promoting an indie Civil War film “Copperhead,” which is in select theaters later this week.
“I would love to do the third part of the trilogy. It’s a big movie like the other two, which is an epic genre,” he told Latino-Review. “The epic part is the time to tell the story. And it’s because it has to cover the [battles of] the...

A few days ago, Ted Williams, the “Homeless Man with the Golden Voice,” went from hard-luck case to the luckiest (and most-interviewed) man on Earth all thanks to those smooooooth, velvety pipes of his.
As you’ve no doubt seen/read/heard Everywhere, this 53-year-old former Ohio radio announcer was videotaped panhandling by the Columbus Dispatch and the video has had exactly one-bazillion hits*. If you’ve heard Williams’ sound you’d know he’s not just some flavor-of-the-nanosecond, either.
Since his stratospheric super-fame-rocket launched, the man has fielded offers from MSNBC, Kraft Foods and the Cleveland Cavaliers, who supposedly offered him a full-time job and LeBron James’ old house. His most alluring offer, however, might be a Faustian deal with the Devil!
Okay, the Devil from “The Witches of Eastwick,” but Devil nonetheless: Mr. Jack Nicholson. Apparently, the Joker himself called with a role in his next flick.
Williams told Entertainment Tonight,...
