Many achingly handsome fellows have steamed up the sterile hospital walls of Grey Sloan, and now there's another dashing doctor in town, set to be played by the endlessly sexy Chris Carmack. Grey's Anatomy's showrunners haven't disclosed too much information about Carmack's recurring role yet, though. From what fans know, he'll play an "Ortho God" in the series' 15th season. We're definitely excited to see how his part unfolds in the show, since he's early 2000s TV royalty after all.
Viewers might not know a lot about Carmack's upcoming role, but they've probably seen him before. He's no stranger when it comes to the small screen. If you binged teen soaps in the early 2000s, you'll recognize him as none other than The O.C.'s Luke Ward, Marissa Cooper's sun-kissed, brutish boyfriend on the water polo team. This character would leave its mark on the actor's career,...

As part of her downward spiral, Amanda Bynes has been busy these last couple months calling various celebrities "ugly" -- Jay-z, Rihanna, Jenny McCarthy.
Now she has added Lance Bass and Perez Hilton to the mix.
It started when Bass went on the Mark & Mercedes 94.1 radio show, telling the hosts of the Bynes' drama, "It's one of those situations where obviously there's some mental problems there and she's not able to see that ... I'm actually really scared for her, and I hope someone is able to get to her to give her the help she needs."
Bynes' response?
"I ignored Lance Bass on twitter and now he is saying I have a mental illness. Sorry you're an ugly ex boy band member w/ no talent or career," to which Bass tweets back, "Ouch- The Amanda I know would never had said something like this to me- either this is a...

Oh readers. What to do with me? I'm always falling behind. In an effort to acknowledge that Nyff ended this weekend, and fall prestige/early campaign season is already upon us (Toy Story 3 event tonight!), here's everything I saw at the Nyff. I got sick right in the middle so I missed a handful I wanted to see. The films are presented in the order I saw with a brief description and a 7 Word Review. For now. Surely I'll find time to say something more about two or three of these later. If you've wondered why I've been posting 2 grades for each movie I see lately, it's because it's my current grade (bold) plus the grade I could be talked into / might end up with when all is said and done.

Words are, "Entourage" stars Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Jerry Ferrara have ended their romance. According to a source close to the 28-year-old beauty, the twosome who began dating in October 2008 have decided to go their separate ways. While the break-up was reportedly mutual, Sigler was said very distressed.
Still, the source stated that the "Love Wrecked" beauty is going to be fine. "It came at a good time for Jamie-Lynn. She was coming home to New York for the holidays anyway, and she wanted to do her own thing for a little while and definitely be out of Hollywood," the source told New York Daily News.
The split rumors first emerged when Sigler was seen attending the screening of Meryl Streep's new comedy film "It's Complicated" on Tuesday, December 15 without the companion of her actor boyfriend. "She came with a few girlfriends, and they drank wine all night. They looked...

Simon Cowell could be forced to pay contestants to compete on his TV talent shows X Factor and Britain's Got Talent - a British performers' rights union has launched a campaign to end "cheap exploitation” on reality shows.
The music mogul has made millions through his string of reality shows, which also include American Idol and America's Got Talent in the U.S.
But bosses at performers’ union Equity aren't happy about the lucrative profits - insisting the contestants who provide the entertainment deserve to be paid for their efforts.
Union executives have tabled a motion about the issue and if the idea pulls in enough support it could lead to a court battle against TV executives.
The motion reads, "The contestants in such programmes are often compelled to enter into restrictive contracts and because of a loophole for competitions they generally do not get paid. These programmes may be very popular with the public but are based on exploitation and humiliation of vulnerable people, which cannot be acceptable.
"The public's demand for high-quality entertainment should be met by professional drama and light entertainment which has been replaced by this cheap exploitation."
Bosses at Talkback Thames, the company behind Britain's Got Talent and The X Factor, have hit back insisting the shows give ordinary people the chance to transform their lives with a music career.
They say in a statement, "Britain's Got Talent and The X Factor are talent competitions. They are not employment in their own right and therefore Equity rates do not apply. Contestants chose to enter to compete for a substantial prize - a cash prize of £100,000 and a performance on the Royal Variety Show for Britain's Got Talent and a recording contract worth £1,000,000 on The X Factor."
The news comes just two months after a legal ruling in France which means production companies in the country must now pay contestants to appear. Three contestants on the French version of reality show Temptation Island won compensation after a judge decided they were entitled to overtime pay for working 24 hours a day.

TORONTO -- A writedown on film costs for Lovewrecked helped M8 Entertainment Inc. swing to a third-quarter profit, the Canadian movie producer said Tuesday.
Montreal-based M8 Entertainment posted a profit of CAN$2.6 million ($2.3 million) for the three months to Sept. 30, against a loss of CAN$3.6 million in 2005.
Third-quarter revenue fell to CAN$8 million ($7.1 million), against a year-earlier CAN$9.6 million. M8 Entertainment said its write-down on the Amanda Bynes starrer Lovewrecked was prompted by a revision of ultimate revenue in earlier quarters for the teen romantic comedy.
