Chilling and hauntingly good

I have recently had the opportunity to see this film and I have to say that it was brilliant. Its dark setting suites very well the dark nature of its content; mainly that of a lonely crematorium worker who becomes infatuated while working on the body of a beautiful female corpse. Xander plays the roll of Myron who seems to have resigned to his lot of being a night-shift cremator for the rest of his days, when Lucia (Played beautiful by Camila Quaresma) enters his "life" and rekindles the spark of emotion had been snuffed out by so much time as a social recluse. His lust for the lifeless body borders on obsession as he breaks down and takes advantage of the post-mortem beauty that fate has delivered in his lap. His slip is brief and his remorse is evident as he follows through on his duties and sends the body into the flames, but remorse isn't enough to keep the ghosts buried in this case. Myron starts seeing Lucia during the remainder of his shift. Following him, haunting him, and seeking a balance for his moment of weakness. The reason I call this movie "hauntingly good" is because there are very few spoken lines and it takes a great talent to carry a film, even a 20 minute film, with just the ability of the actors to portray their characters feelings through facial expression and body language. Expertly performed and beautifully shot, this is an independent movie you don't want to miss.
