Writer David Stanley's strength at mixing reality and fantasy is on view in this obscure Vivid feature, worth rediscovering. Checking director David Christopher's credits in IMDb, this is seemingly the only serious movie, surrounded by a hundred gonzo junkers.
Kody is an irresistibly fresh and innocent seeming petite heroine, introduced auditioning for an acting role. She spends the movie in a world of porn, but Stanley's script poses a very positive hope to escape the path of least resistance and strive for something better.
He keeps the balls in the air, mixing her between reality and dreams, while keeping the viewer guessing.
Along the way she meets a porn actor who gives her encouragement (and sex), played by Stanley's favorite leading man, Eric Masterson. And several busty ladies add to the XXX content.
A key movie to get on the adventurous screenwriter's wavelength.
