Remember its a workout video
novadestin5 October 2007
I think people missed the point completely with this. Far to many comments are "don't buy this she doesn't get naked!!!" no crap she doesn't get naked you idiots! Its not a porn video its a freakin workout! The title is Aerobic Striptease because she is showing you how to get fit doing stripteases. She doesn't need to get naked for that (sorry if thats what you want buy an actually porn). For those who actually are interested in the video for what it is, its a good and fun way to workout plus it can build your confidence to actually preform stripteases since your learning how to do them. It can also give you better dance confidence too. So thats three reasons to buy these: confidence in dancing, confidence in stripteases, and a fun/good way to work out while building said confidence. Don't let all the horny idiots fool you into thinking this sucks, its actually quiet fun and helpful.

Carmen Doesn't Deliver
StrictlyConfidential9 November 2018
OK. When I initially sat down to watch (and, hopefully, enjoy) Carmen Electra's "Aerobic Striptease" DVD, I certainly wasn't expecting her and her gal-pals to do a full striptease for me, right down to the buff. No way, Jose..... But, hey! - I was expecting more than this.

'Cause, let me tell ya - Electra-baby (whose real name is Tara Patrick) totally mislead me here with her utterly phony "Strip-Your-Way-To-Fitness" come on. Yep. She really did.

And, the truth is - (With the exception of but a few provocative body gestures) - This deceitful, little gal certainly didn't come anywhere near to delivering anything that I would call "aerobic striptease" at all. It's true. And, I'd say that it's an absolute outrage! It really is!

Sexy Lady

This workout DVD is awesome!! When I start doing it, I'm immediately having fun. She goes through the steps many times, and you definitely get a workout!! Some of the moves really work out your abs, and you feel like you've stretched a lot afterward. Plus, it helps in your personal life!! *wink* You feel very sexy and desirable afterward, it'd be a shame not to let yourself have this much fun!! You seriously must give it a try. The DVD's are inexpensive, and you can do it in the privacy of your home. As soon as I put it in, I feel as if I'm hanging out with girlfriends. Carmen explains it in a way that is easy to understand, and goes over the steps a lot so that you really get it. Its definitely worth your money!! Have fun takin' it off!

An excellent workout and oh, yeah, you get a routine!
shinypate131 May 2005
How would you like to learn how to strip? This series will teach you basics to total routine. If you want a tough aerobic workout, go with Tae-Bo, but if you want to learn a routine that will turn heads, and incidentally develop a body that will hold that stare, this will do.

This series consists of 5 DVDs, each about an hour in runtime. The first in the series (and the subject of this review) introduces you to basic dance moves and will help you build a couple dance routines. Carmen will break the moves into smaller parts, a help with those unfamiliar with dance, so that it's possible to use this at a learner's level. Additionally, there is little to no actual stripping; you have to read between the lines. It's accessible to men and women both, and I believe it would be used mostly by women and watched mostly by men.

Do you need to learn stripping to help your partner? These days, I guess you gotta have a gimmick! (nod in Gypsy Rose Lee's direction) If you are in good shape... you won't get much of an aerobic workout, because there isn't much jumping. It's mostly on the floor, with some good basic stripping movements and a little hip-hop too. Pretty good music, though, and variety too.

I don't have any complaints about the value, it's good quality and worth what they charge for it (all 5 for under $40). The video picture is top-notch, there are a good assortment of extras, lots of routines, favorite moves, etc. You won't get tired of it soon. Unless you're just watching it.

I love these DVD'S...
Jerzeegurl19818 February 2006
I love these DVD'S the are excellent! They tone you and get you into shape. If you're in tune with your body and feel sexy, then you can do this! It's fun, and if you already know how to dance, then that's the icing on the cake! Trust me, if you wanna look better and feel better about your self, then the DVD'S will help you do that. I mean an hour a day of 3 times a week, you will see results! It took me a mouth to see results and I'm loving it every time I look in the mirror! Trust me it'll work! All you have to do is put the DVD'S on and you're set, the rest is up to you. It's sexy the moves are great, and you will feel the burn every time to so these DVD'S. They even give you your own music to pick and interviews as well. You can see the progress of them trying the dances out for the first time. And experts are saying this is a good workout then you know it's true. Agin try it and I'm sure you will love it!

I love it! :0)

A few small flaws, but totally worth it!

Warning: Spoilers
I LOVE these videos! I hate to exercise, but this is more like dancing than anything, and they're so fun that I want to do it every day. There's enough cardio to get your heart going, but there's also enough time between her teaching the next moves to let you catch your breath. I like that when I've completed a video that I feel like I got a good work out, learned some dance moves, and I'm not drenched in sweat or gasping for air. My husband is definitely going to like what he sees... ;) The only two complaints that I have are so small but, to me, worth being brought to attention. When she's breaking down the moves, she sometime's counts it off wrong which makes it a little tough to dance correctly. And, after we've done part of a routine on the floor, she'll immediately want to start the dance from the beginning. The video doesn't give you enough time to get from the floor to the starting position, and I have to scramble to get up, then end up missing the first few moves. Other than that, this series is totally worth every penny, and I would recommend it to anyone.

A Bit of Fun
jennyfur-14 March 2008
Despite a couple of misguided quirks in production, this is actually a fun workout. It's sexy without being completely raunchy, and you're not required to disrobe in any of the tapes. Here's a brief breakdown of each DVD. The first DVD is actually a couple of short dance routines that do incorporate some floor moves that would probably be seen in your local cabaret. It starts out with a warm-up, and then it goes into a couple of simple dance routines. If you're looking to break a sweat, then you might want to repeat the routines. The second DVD is basically a straight workout video, which I think most people would get the most use out of. The third just basically deals with a couple of short costumed routines such as Naughty Librarian, and a menswear routine. That's about it. The fourth teaches you how to lap dance, and the fifth deals with learning hip hop. My only qualms with this set is the fact that they thought that they had to put so many short routines on to so many separate DVDs. I think they could have easily narrowed it four by lumping the routines and the lap dance together, or they could have done three if they had decided to nix the hip hop routine. I wish they would have focused more on the routine rather than zooming in on Carmen's face, and some of the shadow art shots. Regardless, this is best bought as a set. It is worth trying if you do find it.
