Sex & Nudity

- Two 16yo characters "make out" on several occasions, including long kissing scenes, but always while clothed. The female character feels pressured to have sex but resists the pressure. One (adult) female character appears in her underwear on one occasion. She is promiscuous and provides condoms for her teenaged daughter although they are not used.
Violence & Gore

- An unsuccessful suicide attempt is shown. An adult male character pushes a teenaged male character around a little.
Profanity

- Fuck, or one of its derivatives, is used on 10 occasions, about half of which are by a 16 year old character. Arsehole (asshole) is used three times by a teenaged character. Jesus is said once in a profane situation.
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

- Several of the adult and teenaged characters smoke cigarettes and drink alcohol - wine and spirits. There is talk of intravenous drug use, but it does not occur, and syringes are seen but not used.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- There are themes that may disturb some parents including suicide, homosexuality, promiscuity, teenage sex and the pressures felt by teenagers to take part. Mostly these are discussed rather than explicitly shown although there is an unsuccessful suicide attempt shown.
