A feel-good movie

Vishnu Manchu is Tall and rugged he has a magnificent physique the likes of which we haven't seen in any Tollywood hero. As Vishnu he is effortless. His scenes with shilpa Shivanand are edgy and funny. And his fights pack a definite punch. Songs are the only saving graces in the music department. The fights by Kanal Kannan are realistically executed. Shaji Kailas, the director, gathers some momentum in the second half and manages to finish off the movie well.

Awesome comedy entertainer

Music and background score by Ismail Darbar is good. The title song is the best in picturization aspect. Cinematography by S. Saravanan is pretty good. Dialogues are adequate. Fights done by Kanal Kannan are efficient and stylish (especially superb chase sequence). Editing is alright. Production values are excellent. The entire movie is mounted on a grand scale. The film was made with a high budget and the money could have been used in a very efficient manner to create a proper blockbuster.

The plus points of the film are Vishnu Manchu's makeover and styling as Vishnu and good production values. On the flip side, the second half should have been effectively handled. Vishnu Manchu has terrific comedy timing in him . With thumping music and a techno-touch to his songs, Ismail Darbar doesn't miss a beat, and Vishnu Title Song must be the catchiest of all the tunes.

The film ultimately belongs to Vishnu Manchu and Ohanna Shivanand. Vishnu is high on technical standards. The camera work , the music, the art direction and production values are perfect to the realistic setting of the theme. His dialogue delivery and comedy timing is impeccable. The combination scenes between Vishnu Manchu and Ohanna Shivanand worked really well. The director Shaji Kailas comes up with a refreshing treatment for a clean romantic comedy. Screenplay of the film is excellent in the first half.

Cinematography by S. Saravanan is good. Music scored Ismail Darbar is of vintage type, yet trendy. Background music is also very good. Dialogues written by director Shaji Kailas are philosophical and witty.Shaji Kailas is a film director who impresses you with his ability to hold your attention throughout the film. First half is thoroughly engaging and is hilarious. Second half is more emotional with a bit a humor sprinkled in. There is a bit of slowness in second half. On a whole, Vishnu is a refreshing romantic comedy.
