After Jared loses his watch, there is a shot in the same dive where he still has the watch on.

Near the end when Sam is fighting with that guy underwater, her hair is pulled back by a rubber band or elastic at the start of the fight and at the end when she is swimming back to the boat. But in the middle of the fight, when he grabs her chest, her hair is loose.

When Jared and Sam are meeting Bryce at the airport, a female extra walks through the arrivals gate in the background. A moment later, the same extra walks through again.

When Sam gets into Jared's boat after he has put his foot through the floor, she takes her sandals off prior to getting in, but in the next shot showing her climbing into the boat, she has her sandals on.

While cruising in the new power-yacht, the radar antenna is spinning in distant shots, and is not spinning in close-ups.

When the crew lifts the cannon and the police pulls up you can see the airbags stopped under the surface of the water. They are very small. As the air released at the bottom it expands, the bags/balloons would be twice/thrice the size at least to have the lifting power (buoyancy) to lift a cannon.

When Jared swims to the plane to rescue Amanda he is swimming without lead, pushing the air cilinder forward without adjusting the trim to keep it level. With only his fins for propulsion, this is impossible. The tank should dive into the sand while he floats upward.

When the plane crashes into the ocean, a drug dealer is shown standing in the cockpit at the moment of impact. The windows then shatter and water rushes into the plane, yet the man is still somehow able to hold his standing position. Newton's laws of motion make this impossible and the man should continue to move forward as the plane hits the water.

Newton's laws of motion are safe. His forward motion was swamped when the wall of water bursting through the front windshield washed him away.

Near the end of the movie, Jared opens a loosely closed treasure chest which contains several small treasures. This chest would have been blasted open and emptied, at the very least, when the group used the thrust deflectors to expose the wreck.

When Amanda is filming the boys on the jet skis, the video camera is switched off.

Obvious stunt doubles for the jet ski tricks

The sounds produced by the Honda 4-stroke outboards on the triple engine offshore boat are not accurate. They are produced by a low-restriction exhaust on an inboard or inboard/outboard engine configuration. The real engines should sound far more quiet and timid.

When they are performing the dive where the cannon is found, a shot of the navigation gear on the boat indicates a speed of ten knots. The boat is stationary at this time, as there are divers down.

That wasn't the speedometer. It was the navigational computer. Amanda had called up the nav log showing the record for the trip when the artifacts were found. That 10 kn was from the log history. She wanted to know how to get back to the pallets of coke.

When Jared discovers he is running out of air he looks around his buddy (Amanda) and finds her gone. On the Emergency Ascend he still has enough air to keep exhaling (Small bubbles). Yet you see him swimming rapidly to the surface without exhaling. This can cause a lung rupture and every experienced diver will know to keep blowing bubbles in an emergency ascend.

Paul Walker was an experienced diver and he didn't blow bubbles because he wasn't deep enough to make it necessary.

During the first dive to look for treasure, the divers use the propwash from their reversed underwater propulsion devices to clear sand from the sea floor. Blowing that much water at the sea floor would propel them backwards unless they were tethered, which they are not.

The power needed to haul a diver is far more than is needed to wash away some sand and Jared was finning to compensate. When they were digging out the cannon and used stronger propwash, Bryce anchored Jared while gripping the cannon.

When Amanda gets stuck in the drug plane she lets go of her bottle and 'saves' herself in an air pocket. She could have just as easily swam out.

She wasn't really stuck, she just got her gear snagged. She didn't want to leave - she wanted to figure how to grab one of those bricks of cocaine. The Jared came along and 'rescued' her.

When Jared and Sam are cuddling underwater during the free dive, they don't have their masks on. When they surface a moment later, they have the masks and snorkels on again.

Sometimes a decision has to be made about redoing a good shot because of an inconsequential continuity glitch.

Many times, when something or someone hits the sea floor there is a mighty crash. Hitting soft sand would not make such a noise.

When Jared, Sam, Amanda, and Bryce are in the pool discussing whether or not to dig for the ship or report the plane, Jared says "One more thing, you don't repeat this to anyone"....and his lips mouth the word Capiche, but it is dubbed over as "OK", and it's done by someone with an accent.

When Amanda becomes entangled in the underwater plane, you can see a diver behind her trying to hide from the camera.

After Jared hits the car with his truck the female driver begins to run after the truck and you can see her mic pack at the small of her back.

When Jared and Bryce are fighting after they learn Sam has been kidnapped you can see Jared's mic cord under his shirt, all the way up from his waist to his neck.

Towards the end of the movie Jared, Sam, and Bryce take off after Primo pulls up next to them, you can see the reflection of a camera in the windshield of the truck as they are going down the narrow ally.
