It's been 3 decades but I still remember this movie. One of the best komiks drama with all four leads doing a great job. How I wish I have a copy of this movie. Slightly distracting is they didn't use Hilda's voice during dubbing. Aside from this, a thoroughly enjoyable movie . Christopher de Leon (Dindo) and Nora Aunor (Adora) are long time partners when Hilda Koronel (Renee) seduced Dindo. Thinking he got Renee pregnant, he separated ways with Adora. Adora didn't tell him she's also pregnant. Her child died at childbirth while the song Beloved played in the middle of the movie. Feeling betrayed after finding out she's not really pregnant , Dindo had an argument when Renee said, "are my little sins worth more than the bigger good things I've done for you?". Suspecting he still likes Adora, she deliberately took poison and placed the bottle in Adora's bag; to make Dindo hate Adora. Dindo Fernando (Ver) caught in camera while Renee was putting the poison bottle in Adora's bag and blackmailed Renee to force sex. Adora caught this , as she was having papers signed with Ver , in his apartment. Adora confronted Renee with a double slap, and in the elevator Renee confessed everything. She said , "talong talo ako sa yo Adora" ( I can never win over you ). This was reportedly a real slap. In the final scene, Renee shot Ver , with Adora witnessing the crime. Dindo came along, begging Adora to help them. Renee reminded Adora that once, she saved her from drowning, that Adora owes her . Adora thought long, will she let go of her beloved to her tormentor ?
