Sex & Nudity

  • The children in the movie talk several times about seeing girls naked. A boy sings a song about masturbation.

Violence & Gore

  • A man is cut by some glass (offscreen) and we see his face bleeding. Two boys fight in a laundry room and one of them says, "I'll rearrange your face." A boy attempts to strangle a man after the man repeatedly slaps him on the face.

Profanity

  • Infrequent strong profanity. Surprising for a children's film
  • The S-word is used twice. The F-word is also used twice. The D-word is used at least once.
  • A couple of mischievous pupils sing a song below the headmaster's window, which makes reference to his c*ck (in the English sub-titles).
  • The spanish version of the movie includes more language, even though it's rated as it is for every age.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Some of the older children smoke in this movie.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Several possibly frightening and disturbing scenes.
  • Reference is made to a former pupil committing suicide.
