Fairly creepy and interesting.

Extremely sensual Lorean Herrera stars along with Gerardo González in this Mexican version of "The Eye". I wonder if the Japanesse movie was slightly inspired by this low budget production.

The story involves a young lawyer (González) who gets into a fight and ends up getting shot. He loses sight but thanks to a cornea surgery, he recovers it. But that's only when weird horrible nightmare and strange situations begin to happen. Who was the girl who donate her cornea? What happened to her when she was alive? What's going on with drugs? This movie is surprisingly good and offers a decent amount of chills and suspense. Lorena Herrera delivers a solid believable performance and she's super sexy. Manuel Ojeda also delivers a good unconventional performance. Juan Pelaez does what he can.

The atmosphere is creepy and disturbing specially in the nightmare sequences. The direction is stylish although some scenes look dark mainly because of the cinematography; it's a decent visual experience.

I can recommend this movie if you are into psychological thrillers and ghostly sub plots. Worths a look.
