Feroz Khan originally offered the role of Harsh Chhaya to Rishi Kapoor . Rishi Kapoor declined the role for unknown reasons.

Feroz Khan recreated the theme music of the American TV show Unsolved Mysteries. He used his new and slightly remixed version for the title music of Janasheen. The music was used during the title sequence of the film.
A city based non-governmental animal organization, People For Animals (PFA) has filed a case in the Bombay high Court asking a ban on the screening of Feroz Khan's film Janasheen. The charge is that Feroz Khan has made animals to perform in his film without legal permission from the Animal Welfare Board of India (AWBI). A producer is required to seek permission from AWBI before using animals for shoot in his film. Khan had used a tiger, an elephant and a monkey in his film. However, Khan's lawyer refuted the charges claiming that the filmmaker had used the animals under the supervision of circus authorities and had obtained the necessary permissions from the zoo authorities.
