Is this a joke?
julianhaw3 October 2004
Worst piece of festering human excrement I've ever seen. To the point that it's funny. Words escape me as I try to describe the atrociousness that I picked up from my local video store. It seems that the person who made this movie has the intelligence of a two year old. If you've seen the DVD version of the movie, you'll know that there's an even worse "prequel" to this movie, in which black bars are used to cover the faces of the actors when they don't portray the emotions correctly. Living rooms have captions under them saying who decorated the room. Acting was HORRIBLE. When an actor wasn't available that day, a note was displayed on the screen mentioning this, and telling us to pretend that he's there. However, I laughed so hard watching this because of its worse-than-amateur quality and the utter horribleness of this film. Be sure to burn any copies of this movie if you happen to encounter them.

one of the worst movies I've ever seen

This movie is pure garbage. Not even fit for cult classic status. Did they just get stoned with a video camera and walk around LA? What is the deal with him answering a roll of toilet paper like it was a telephone, and what the &^%$ is the deal with the last half of the movie? Its like watching a bunch of high-school kids with a video camera and some beer. Regardless of what anyone else posts - like how this is a "spoof" of some sort...nuh-uh...it's pure crap and I wonder how it wound up being distributed. About the only credit I can give its distribution at all is that it proves anyone can get distributed. If you're an aspiring film-maker, you can do better than this.

Try WRONG director, writer, and cinema...opps videographer!
briantrickle31 July 2003
i pride myself on finishing everything i start, but by far this was one of the most trying experiences. the writing, directing, and cinema. i mean videography in this video movie could win every razzie award of 2003. the story is suppose to represent young latino life in los angeles and does not even come close to what could possible be believable. the dialog seems horribly improvised at times and is just terribly acted the rest. The director/writer Oscar Lu came up with some of the worst `only in the movies' garbage i've ever seen. from a guy owing his blind, pink shirt wearing, drug lord boss 20,000 dollars and just happens to find a dead guy with a check on him for (you guessed it).to taking over an entire drug underworld with just two bags of badly disguised flour. well you will have to see the film.video to find out the rest. At times it is almost funny that such atrocious work could make it all the way to my local video store. So, save your time and money, and don't let wrong casa, into your casa!

sure to become a cult classic...
gumby-81 December 2003
"Wrong Casa" is a little film that will be considered a cult classic in some circles...it aims to poke fun at the "latino-gangster" straight-to-video genre that fills the walls of Blockbuster and Hollywood Video.

Never to be taken seriously by the filmmakers, read between the lines on this one and you will have a great time...

mildly entertaining, but nothing special here

Wrong Casa, portrayed to be a realistic look into the Latino drug scene, is anything but. In what appears to be an amateur-shot video with no real action, the viewer gets to watch an absolute idiot "convince" a drug dealer of various things to get out of paying him back a lot of money. If you are looking for a more accurate and entertaining look at the Latino drug scene, take a look at Latino Kingz. It isn't a terrific movie, but certainly accomplished what Wrong Casa could not.
