A side of the world I have never seen before.

This was an interesting documentary. I had no idea what life in a juvenal detention center was like, let alone anything about the people who were incarcerated therein. I learned a lot and the documentary shows the benefit that the arts can have on rehabilitating/readjusting people to function in society.

One thing that bothered me was the repeated image of the bird stuck in the wind. After seeing it so many times, the symbolism became very heavy-handed and became distracting.

Overall, I am glad that I saw it. I am more aware of my world.
