Charlie Robison, the Texas singer-songwriter whose rootsy anthems made the country charts until he was forced to retire after complications from a medical procedure left him unable to sing, died Sunday. He was 59.

Robison died at a hospital in San Antonio after suffering cardiac arrest and other complications, according to a family representative.

Robison launched his music career in the late 1980s, playing in local Austin bands like Two Hoots and a Holler before forming his own Millionaire Playboys. In 1996, he released his solo debut, Bandera, named for the Texas Hill Country town where his family has had a ranch for generations.

When he was approached by Sony in 1998, Robison signed with its Lucky Dog imprint, which was devoted to rawer country. His 2001 album Step Right Up produced his only Top 40 country song, “I Want You Bad.”

Singer Miranda Lambert reached her tipping point during a recent concert in Las Vegas where she stopped mid-song to scold some fans for taking selfies, which caused disturbances during her performance.

The country star was performing ‘Tin Man’ during her Las Vegas residency this past weekend when she took a pause from her performance to direct some words to some concertgoers, reports ‘Deadline’.

“I’m going to stop right here for a second,” Lambert said in the viral video. “These girls are worried about their selfie and not listening to the song. It’s pissing me off a little bit.”

Friday Night Lights and Nashville star Connie Britton is set to join Ryan Murphy's new procedural drama series at Fox. This would reunite Britton and Murphy for the first time since they made the first season of American Horror Story. She will join the previously cast Angela Bassett and Peter Krause.

The series is called 911 and according to THR, "it explores the high-pressure experiences of police, paramedics and firefighters who are thrust into the most frightening, shocking and heart-stopping situations. These emergency responders must try to balance saving those who are at their most vulnerable with solving the problems in their own lives."

The details on the characters that the actors will play are being kept under wraps. There will be 13-episodes in Season 1 and it's scheduled to air midseason.

The "Swalla" singer is reteaming with Luke Bryan for a performance on Wednesday's 2017 Cmt Music Awards, airing live from Nashville at 8:00 pm Et/Pt on Cmt. The pair are also nominated together in the Cmt Performance of the Year category for their version of "Want to Want Me" from Cmt Crossroads.

Also added to the star-studded performance lineup are Peter Frampton and Brothers Osborne, performing together live for the very first time. Meanwhile, over on the Firestone Stage, newcomers Brett Young, Chris Lane, Jon Pardi, Lauren Alaina and Midland are also set to perform.

The 13-year-old singer-actress makes her solo music debut with a special recording of "Riding Free," the theme song to Netflix's original animated series Spirit Riding Free -- and only Et has the exclusive debut of the music video.

The music video, which features a cameo by Stella's best friend, Dance Moms star Mackenzie Ziegler, showcases Stella in her element.
