Intriguing low-budget drama with unknown actors. I give them credit for developing intriguing characters revolving around a club holding a poetry contest. Would have appreciated a little more character development instead of filling in time with too many flashbacks. Many of the flashbacks were a complete waste of time. Promising actors included the lead who played Wurdz and the police officer. Lots of intriguing aggressive poetry that matched well with the story. Good cinematography from b- budget and attractive sets. Nice urban flick to watch that is intellectually intriguing without a lot of violence.

First of all, I would like to say the movie was very intriguing. It had a lot of characters that were easily identifiable. I thought the trial scene should have been extended. It was difficult to completely understand the events because the scene was so short. The judge was very realistic. I think however, it would have solidified some of the characters more if that scene were more developed. Overall, it is one of the best first debut movies I have seen in a long time. The lady who played the judge was quite good. It would be nice to see her in another movie. Many of the characters were understated because they were not all as necessary as they implied. I think that with some more character development this movie could have been more recognized. Finally, the judge looked very familiar, has she been in other films. If so, who is she?
