One cannot wonder what happened four decades later

The movie was about pro-democracy student movement in the late 1940's, which was one of the greatest helps to put communist in power. The same thing happened in 1989 but ended with tragedy well known. The cause for both are the same, and in real life, any cadres who were parts of the targets in the 1989 pro-democracy movement were in fact, the students in the movement four decades earlier. Once they became part of the ruling regime, they became corrupted just like their predecessors themselves had once demonstrated against.
