- Saruman the White: You fool, it is time for you to stop. You did not believe a ragtag ranger could contend with my will did you? I am beyond your power! You shall pay for your arrogance...
- Galadriel: The world is changed. I feel it in the water. I feel it in the earth. I smell it in the air. Much that once was is lost, for none now live who remember it.
- [the movie title Lord of the Rings shows up before showing the flashback history]
- Galadriel: It began with the forging of the Great Rings. Three were given to the Elves; immortal, wisest and fairest of all beings. Seven to the Dwarf Lords, great miners and craftsmen of the mountain halls. And nine, nine rings were gifted to the Race of Men, who above all else desire power. For within these rings was bound the strength and will to govern each race. But they were all of them deceived, for another ring was made. In the land of Mordor, in the fires of Mount Doom, the Dark Lord Sauron forged, in secret, a Master Ring to control all others. And into this Ring he poured his cruelty, his malice and his will to dominate all life. One Ring to rule them all. One by one, the Free Lands of Middle-Earth fell to the power of the Ring. But there were some who resisted. A last alliance of Men and Elves marched against the armies of Mordor. And on the slopes of Mount Doom, they fought for the freedom of Middle-Earth.
- [Then the men and elves have a showdown against the huge orc army]
- Elrond: [English translation for elvish] Hold your positions! Fire the arrows!
- Isildur's Lieutenant: [Then it the gameplay to Mount Doom begins] Kill them all!
- Galadriel: It was in this moment, when all hope had faded, that Isildur, son of the king, took up his father's sword.
- [Isildur grabs the broken sword and slices up Sauron in pieces, his body explodes in a blinding white light and knocks the armies down to the ground and then his helmet remains falls to the ground. Isildur takes the one ring off the finger piece of Sauron]
- Galadriel: Sauron, the enemy of the free peoples of Middle-Earth, was defeated. The Ring passed to Isildur, who had this one chance to destroy evil forever, but the hearts of Men are easily corrupted.
- [Then a cutscene shows Isidur and Elrond inside the fire of Mount Doom]
- Elrond: Destroy it!
- Isildur: No!
- [Then it switches over to a CGI Aragon on a horse]
- Aragorn: I am Isildurs heir and not Isildur himself, my fate is my own. To Helms Deep, Brego go.
- Aragorn: [the cutscene shows Helms Deep fortress before showing Aragorn opening the gate] All Isengard is emptied, It is an army bred for one purpose: to destroy the world of men. The Dark Lord draws near.
- Ring King of Men: [the scene shows Saruons flaming eye and then shows the Ringwraith] Baggins!
- Aragorn: Ringwraiths! Get back! Back foul thing! They seek the ringbearer, stay close.
- [Then the gameplay at Weathertop begins]
- Samwise 'Sam' Gamgee: Strider!
- [Aragon runs over to Frodo who's been wounded by the poisoned knife and picks Frodo up]
- Arwen: Let him be spared, save him.
- Aragorn: In the Sanctuary of Rivendell, the smallest of us showed the greatest courage.
- Elrond: [English translation for elvish] Frodo, hear my voice, come back to the light.
- Frodo Baggins: [Then a cutscene shows the Counsel of Elrond] I will take it!
- Aragorn: And a fellowship was forged.
- Frodo Baggins: I will take the ring to Mordor. Though, I do not know the way.
- Gandalf: I will help you bear this burden Frodo Baggins, as long as it is yours to bear.
- Boromir: You carry the fate of us all little one.
- Aragorn: [Then the scene changes to a CGI Aragorn who stands up and walks over to Frodo] If by my life or death. I can protect you I will. You have my sword.
- Legolas: And You have my bow.
- Gimli: And my axe.
- Ring King of Men: We shall find you!
- [the Ringwraith stabs Frodos shoulder blade with the poisoned knife and Frodo takes off the ring and becomes visible but wounded]
- Saruman the White: So Gandalf, you try to lead them over Caradhras. And if that fails, where then will you go?
- Gimli: To Moria.
- [Then a CGI Gimli shows up and the fellowship members gather on the mountainside]
- Gandalf: This land has changed. We shall wait here until the path beyond appears safe.
- Aragorn: We've had no word from Moria in many years.
- Gimli: We could pass through the Mines of Moria. My cousin Balin would give us a royal welcome. Watch out!
- [Then the orc archers fire arrows and Aragorn parries them with his sword]
- Gimli: Moria.
- Aragorn: It was here that we would find far more than the tomb of Balin, Lord of Moria.
- Gimli: No! NOOOO!
- [Gandalf picks up the big book and reads it]
- Gandalf: We have barred the gates. Drums in the deep. We cannot get out. They are coming.
- [Then the orcs hack the wooden door down but they get shot by arrows before a wave of the orc army storms in Balins tomb, attacks the fellowship and the gameplay begins]
- Aragorn: Moria had been a dark journey for our Fellowship.
- [Then the cutscene shows the bridge of Bridge of Khazad-dûm and Gandalf is about to fall into the abyss]
- Frodo Baggins: Gandalf!
- Gandalf: Fly, you fool!
- [Gandalf falls off the bridge]
- Frodo Baggins: NOOOOOO!
- Galadriel: The quest stands upon the edge of a knife. Stray but a little and it will fail.
- Aragorn: But it would become darker still, for our Fellowship was failing. I would have gone with you to the end. Into the very fires of Mordor. Go Frodo. Run! Frodo carries the fate of us all! We must defend him!
- [Aragorn draws his sword, Legolas and Gimli get ready to fight Uruk-hai and the Gameplay for Amon Hen begins]
- Gandalf: You have done all you can here. The survivors will make for Helm's Deep. You still have work to do. I will come back to you at the turn of the tide.
- Gandalf: There is a union now between the two towers; Orthanc and Barad-Dur. You are needed elsewhere. War is coming to Rohan.
- Aragorn: Despite Boromir's heroism, the servants of Saruman captured members of our Company. But we would not abandon our companions to torment and death. For days we followed their trail... finally it led us to Fangorn Forest.
