A boring mess! Don't bother with it.
The_Void16 January 2007
I saw Seduction Cinema's 'Lust for a Vampire' recently, and at the time thought I would be hard pressed to find a worse Misty Mundae porn film...it would seem I was wrong. Vampire Strangler is an early Mundae film produced by a low rent production company known as Factory 2000, but distributed by Mundae's usual company, Seduction Cinema. I have no idea what the actual plot line here is, but since the word 'vampire' is in the title, I was expecting some vampires. I didn't pick up on any references to the classic movie monster, but then again; I did sleep most of the way through this dismal mess. Most of the film focuses on a single bed in the corner of a room, where everyone's favourite soft-core porn actress proceeds to engage in a number of dirty pornographic exchanges. The stuff between the porn is boring as hell, and the porn itself is never all that interesting. The production values are terrible, and the film offers little in the way of intellectual, visual or erotic stimulation. Vampire Strangler is likely to be of interest to Mundae fans, but seriously - I can't recommend that anyone bothers seeking out this film because it's really not worth spending eighty five minutes on.

Low quality, but a must for Mundae fans.

Yes, it's true what you've heard on both counts: this movie has a lower production quality than most grade school home videos, and it also has Seduction Cinema flag girl Misty Mundae in uncensored boy on girl action --albiet, mainly in the "deleted scenes" section on the DVD. To clear up the mystery for those of you who haven't seen it and are curious, you will want to keep the fast-forward button handy. Besides Misty's sex scenes, there really isn't anything worth watching in this flick. Of course, at a mere 50 mins or so, this is what makes up almost the entire movie. Even some of the sex scenes are worth skipping around a bit. However, fans will want the bonus footage section of this disk more than anything else. There is explicit oral sex both on and from her, as well as some heavy grinding. Whether or not she is actually having sex with her partner is never 100% clear in the end --in some scenes you can see clearly that the sex is simulated, but in others you're not sure. Oh yeah, there's no "finishing shot" either. Movie-wise, this has got to be the absolute lowest quality, cheapest P.O.S. I've ever seen. However, the deleted scenes are a must for the true die-hard Mundae fan. Just try not to pay to much for this thing, which will be hard since most sites list it in the $30 to $40 category. Watch eBay closely.

What an unpleasant surprise.

I've sort of made it my mission in life to watch every single movie involving vampire's, ever made. I have watched a couple of horror-meets-erotica movies before and also movies staring Misty Mundae before, so I sort of knew what to expect already. This movie however turned out to be way out worse than any other genre movie I've seen so far.

The movie is extremely amateur-like looking. The movie was entirely shot with 1 handy-cam and without the use of proper sound. The editing is also absolutely horrible at times, especially during the sex sequences.

But the absolute worst thing about the movie is its story. The movie does not make sense and the story also really seems to serve no purpose. In the beginning the movie at least actually seemed to have a plot in it. The plot however gets quickly abandoned, after we get to see 3 sex sequences in a row, featuring the same two person and one voyeuristic person that seems to pop out of nowhere. Somewhere in the movie there is a vampire featured but it's more about a strange voodoo priest, who has to hold his mask to prevent it from falling and loves to drink tea before and after he makes strange noises and does strange dances. Again, the story serves totally no purpose and it's hilariously bad written and constructed. It absolutely makes no sense.

The sequences go on for far too long, especially the strangulation sequences. I don't know, perhaps this movie was made for persons with a strangulation-fetish?

The sex sequences are quite hardcore, especially for Misty Mundae, though this is mostly the case in the deleted sequences. That also is a weird thing about this movie. The first halve of the movie is an actual 'movie', while the second halve consists out of deleted sequences, put after each other.

One of the earliest Misty Mundae is definitely not her best, as if there even exists such a thing as her 'best' movie.

Perhaps the worst movie ever made
dasa10820 June 2011
Ed Wood can rest in peace. Mr. Hellfire offered to history the worst movie ever. The script is non existing. The acting is so weak that you can believe. The photography, the lights, are all z grade. Then, what I saw here? Misty Mundae was a nice girl, but is not enough to give life a dead man. Her acting is terrible. When she speak, as rumanian, you only can smile. Mr. Hellfire is terrible also. But he receive a good payment from himself. You need to see the end of the movie and you will understand. The movie has no end. Please, see the chaman. Is so awful!!!! All my life I waited to see this kind of trash. Please avoid this movie. Is worst than cancer.

Vampire Strangler (1999)

1/2 (out of 4)

A foreign girl (Misty Mundae) moves to the U.S. to live with her cousin (William Hellfire) who immediately falls for her. The two are soon having sex while other strange visions begin to take place. Okay, this is my first feature with Mundae and after some reading I apparently got lucky or unlucky depending on how I want to look at it. This is apparently a film Mundae made with her boyfriend who in return filmed some hardcore sequences, which are the only ones the actress has done to date. I guess you might look at that as a lucky thing. The unlucky thing is that this is a downright horrid movie that really doesn't work on any level. The story doesn't make a bit of sense and apparently the original version only ran 50-minutes but the director later added in one hardcore sequence, which is how we got to the 89-minute running time now. The erotic side of this film never works because of how ugly it's shot. The horror elements never work because there aren't any with the exception of a couple strangle sequences. I'm sure this movie was made for someone in mind but it comes off being the director wanting to film himself with his girlfriend so that he can later show his friends. I'm sure this film would have been forgotten had Mundae not grown into a cult status but I certainly hope her future films are better than this one.
