I just can say that it is a very nice short, very good animation and history, congratulations to the director!, she will arrive far away! A young promise of the spanish animation. Thanks!.

Cool little short that is designed and structured really well

La Mocha (real name Rosita Guzman) escaped from prison in 1962 and was never captured or found. Blamed for many violent crimes and distinctive for her lack of thumbs little is known of her but this documentary engages experts and those who claim to have met her on the road in the forty years since her escape.

Opening with the interest of being a "documentary" this short film engaged me from the start by structuring a "true" story of this infamous killer La Mocha. Of course it is not true and is based on a short story but the film uses energy and solid design to hold the viewer for the short running time. The material doesn't really lead anywhere but is interesting within its own world and the manner of delivery makes it feel more interesting than it is. The animation is round and ready for those used to Pixar but it is creative and stylish, with the edge of a serial killer documentary. Julve's direction of his creations is impressive and the film feels better than it actually looks – the style lifting the limitations of the budget.

Overall then a fun little short film that covers a lack of substance with a clever design and structure.
