Very Good
Watching 'Location, Location, Location' is like being in a dream house of your own. This show, similar to a central flat in London is undoubtedly at the top of it's market, however still has the friendliness and warmth of a cottage situated in the Yorkshire moors. The on screen partnership of Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer brings not only human compassion to a very important life decision but also a lot of off the cuff banter and jovial behaviour. Without these two presenters it would be like having a farmhouse without an aga!
'Location, Location, Location' is both entertainment and education. After watching the show for a few weeks I have now begun to spot different architectural styles, as well as possible developments within my town, so if you're interested in a project to convert an old cow barn into a modern, open planned home, I've got the perfect place for you.
The entertainment of the show comes mostly from the various couples each week. There is a lot of pressure on each of the pairs to make the right decision and unsurprisingly this often results in a few domestic disputes, often giving the impression of who wears the trousers in that relationship. By the end of the show I often feel I have come up with a few ways that each individual could be more considerate of the other's needs and vice versa, therefore Location, Location, Location in terms of future job prospects, also gives some practical experience for any aspiring relationship councillors.
Some couples have more items on their checklist than students applying for accommodation along University Avenue in Glasgow, and it teaches the viewers the important life lesson that we can't always be too picky as nothing is perfect. The show usually ends with a united decision over a house and one which my family and I often bet on. The winning house is predominantly one that simply 'just feels right', which I personally think the same can be said for this programme. Location, Location, Location has the perfect mix of education, excitement, comedy and relatability to make it accessible to anyone.
