- Mahoro (and to a lesser extent, Chizuko and Miyuki) bemoan their small breasts. Mahoro, at one point in the second season, purchases a breast pump machine to enlarge her bust, though it turns out to be a dream.

- Episode 13 of the second season features a scene of mass slaughter, with dead bodies covering the floor and blood splattered everywhere.
