The opening scenes in this number, featuring Edwin August and Ethel Davis, were very attractive, but a little too jerky to get up proper feeling. The separation of the young violinist from his wife and their subsequent bringing together makes quite a pleasing story; in the meantime Terio has won the artistic success he craved. Good photography helps the film story. - The Moving Picture World, March 14, 1914
