Spacebabes, lasers, rocketships and foam monsters!
dannydraven17 November 2003
If you're a fan of low budget monster films of the 50s and 60s, this fun, unique spoof is worth a look. It's got everything you've come to love in those old films, Spacebabes, lazers, spaceships, and a man in a monster mask. Oh, and I can't forget Patrick McNee... Check it out for some good comedic fun.

A fun, low-budget escapade
jltournier11 January 2006
A blast of a short film produced on a minuscule budget by true lovers of the genre. The fact that the producers managed to snare Patrick MacNee (star of the classic British TV spoof *The Avengers*) should give some indication of the surprising quality. Also present and participating in the copious laughs is Bob Burns, longtime fan and sci-fi memorabilia collector who has become somewhat of a celebrity in his own right thanks to ownership of the only surviving armature (18" skeleton) of the original King Kong. Burns and his wife Kathy have also received a cameo in Peter Jackson's *King Kong.*

If you get the chance to view this little gem you are in for a treat!

space amazons

I saw the film twice and thought it was a lot of fun. Who wouldn't enjoy space amazons, william sanderson, a guy in a gorilla suit and an original tune from frank black. There were a lot of in-jokes relating to several B movies and B movie culture. The only "low budget" aspects of the film were done "by design" and were there for humor, (the spaghetti strainer mind reading device for example) and shouldn't be confused with the production value of the film which was high. The editing, directing, attention to detail in regards to set design, and post production all make it unique.

No budget time machine
Versionsofu29 September 2003
OK OK I know it warns you in advance being "THE LOW BUDGET TIME MACHINE" and all, but it has to be one of the most unwatchable shorts that I've ever seen. Which is to bad because they had some really amazing old school actors and not to mention, legendary Frank Black doing some doing some music for the film.

Don't take my word for it check it out for yourself and you be the judge.

This is a fun 1950's sci-fi send-up.
hoodedman-213 December 2003
I think this film is a great send-up of the 1950's sci-fi films. It has a fantastic cast and it made me laugh. There is great attention to every detail. What more do you need in a film?

If you are a fan of classic SciFi then you will love this movie.

This is one of the most refreshingly creative shorts I have seen in a long time. It's smart-it's camp-it's funny. The film also features some of today's best character actors-Duane Whitaker, Daniel Roebuck and Jimmy Keene (the acting machine). Kathe Duba-Barnett's star is on the rise, if you get the chance...see this movie!
