Quite Enjoyable.

Wow, where to begin. This is a movie within a movie about making a movie...lol Randy Travis stars in a western movie that is being filmed. There is lots of singing and fighting going on. This movie very cleverly promotes Randy as a singer and his music releases. Burt Reynolds joins in with the singing and the fighting along side Randy. Chuck Norris has a cameo as he joins in to kick Randy's behind in a cool fight scene. ENDRE HULES stars as Lionel, the movie director whose lust for perfection sets the tone for the entire movie. Mr. Hules really shines in this movie as an actor who portrays a hard nosed all work no play director who soon gives in and warms up to the innocent (hahaha) charms of Billy "the Kid". Randy singing, Burt Reynolds fighting, and a real story line (which I will not spoil by telling you about it). What more could you ask for? Comedy? It has comedy too. Wait until you see the first fight scene Burt is in, and Lionel, the director,(ENDRE HULES) walks over and has some words with Mr. Reynolds. You will absolutely love it and die laughing. ENDRE'S character (Lionel) and superb acting ability really held this movie together. I hope this made for TV movie appears on television again soon. You will not want to miss it.

Great Movie I own it on DVD

Warning: Spoilers
I just saw this movie someone let me know that they had it on VHS and transferred it to DVD. It is really a strange film. it is roughly 45 minutes without commercial. The quality is quite good for an old VHS the beginning credits are partially missing and at the end there are one or two seconds of choppy parts. Burt Reynolds has the most screen time other than of course Randy Travis, The Director and The Kid. Burt has some lines and it features and duet at the end.

Lou Diamond Phillips has maybe one or two lines and the other is him complaining that he does not have enough lines.

Chuck Norris has literally no lines however you can almost hear him speak at the luau near the end of the party. check my IMDb message board post to know more about how to get this movie the movie has random music videos put in between the plot I guess to promote his album. I posted youtube videos and such to get this thing so I am proud of the fact that I finally found it.

Anyway this is the last chuck Norris movie that I did not own so I am complete so I feel rather good. Though it is not a legal copy because there is none, it is the best I could find.

I need this on DVD or even VHS
akstewart8121 October 2014
I LOVE Randy Travis. I have every CD and almost every DVD he stared in. I am so upset that they won't bring this out on DVD. I used to have the VHS but now I can seem to find it. I am not a book writer and wish they would change this from having to be 10 lines long to a few lines long. 1 or 2 would be better. Then we would not have to read all this junk just to know I want the DVD. VHS would be fine. Even if it was bootlegged, I don't care I just want the DVD. I have 4 kids I would love to have watch this movie. One being a Chuck Norris fun. loll

Anyways, I would love to own this movie. Does anyone know where I can buy it on DVD or VHS?
