Though it has aged with time, in the 1980s it was one of the most popular TV comedy shows in France.
For many years, as French TV had only 3 channels at the time, this was one the most important TV shows available !
Based on short sketches, with guest stars, the highlight of any adolescent boys day was to see the Cocogirls, very cute dancers in French maid outfits, or the weekly strip tease artist ! ;-p
Similar to American staples like the Smothers Brothers, or Laugh In, they just don't seem to make shows like that anymore....
Off the air for many years now, no other show has ever stepped in to replace it !
