An incredably amusing tale with thought put into it. And the title is not misleading either! Will Keenan and Gadi Harel make a success in thier first directoral apperances. Both have roles in the movie but it is Keenan's unique style that grabs your attention. He is over the top, quite physical and does all his own stunts. He has been compared to other comedians such as Buster Keaton and Jim Carey. Keenan and his roll in OMC can be best described as Jim Carey meets Conspiricy Thoery meets a lot of women. And yet through all of the films fun insanity, there is thought to push it along. The movie itself is not far from the truth as Keenan's character is rather true to life.

If given the chance, see this movie at your local theater or film festival. Mainstream film needs more Will Keenans and Gadi Harels.

Operation Midnight Climax was a real operation by the CIA.

Operation Midnight Climax was an operation initially established by Sidney Gottlieb and placed under the direction of Narcotics Bureau officer George Hunter White under the alias of Morgan Hall for the CIA as a sub-project of Project MKULTRA, the CIA mind-control research program that began in the 1950s.

The project consisted of a web of CIA-run safehouses in San Francisco, Marin, and New York. It was established in order to study the effects of LSD on unconsenting individuals. Prostitutes on the CIA payroll were instructed to lure clients back to the safehouses, where they were surreptitiously plied with a wide range of substances, including LSD, and monitored behind one-way glass. Several significant operational techniques were developed in this theater, including extensive research into sexual blackmail, surveillance technology, and the possible use of mind-altering drugs in field operations.

The safehouses were dramatically scaled back in 1962, following a report by CIA Inspector General John Earman that strongly recommended closing the facility. The San Francisco safehouses were closed in 1965, and the New York City safehouse soon followed in 1966.

MKULTRA came to light in the spring of 1963 during a wide-ranging survey of the CIA's technical services division. John K. Vance, a member of the Central Intelligence Agency inspector general's staff, discovered that the agency was running a research project that included administering LSD and other drugs to unwilling human subjects.

Operation Ollie Undies

Operation midnight Climax is a magnificent movie about a parnnoid man who tries to disguise himself to avoid the FBI, and CIA who he thinks is following him and watching him with survelance cameras. The movie starts out with the main character finding the foreskin from his penis and calling the doctor to see if he could have it placed back on his penis.

This movie is filled with oddities like oliver stone underwear, cake made with menstrul blood, fairies, models, strange outfits, guys getting hit by many cars, etc etc. I first encountered this movie at the NEWPORT FILM FESTIVAL and was completely blown away by this particular film. GO
